Konami would probably use Mutsuhiko Izumi because he's done quite a lot for jubeat. If not Jimmy Weckl, then Sega would have either Sho-T, sta, or YMCK.

I'm slightly clueless as I don't know much about maimai, but doesn't SEGA have in-house artists? Like Kai/Hiro/GOSH?
I mean I hope that we get a Weckl song, but I guess that it's more likely to get an in-house song from them instead of a commission...

About KONAMI to other games, I guess that'll be FLOWER, hahaha.

If i'm not wrong , there already was a collaboration between groove coster, taiko and maimai, right? Guess Konami was jealous out of the loop. This is a pretty interesting though and I'm happy to see this happen, even if I don't really play games other than Bemani series (not even sure if my profile in groove coster or maimai still exist...)

As I'm not really into Taiko or maimai, I wonder what the more iconic and well-known songs of those game series might get transplanted, if that's what they're going by and it's not random. Also I find it hilarious that FLOWER has a chance of transcending BEMANI itself.


Personally, I would think it would be S-C-U since he's been the sound director for years now. Most of his songs are from/have been transplanted to jubeat too.

Are Sho-T, Sta and YMCK in-house at Sega? I thought they were just commissioned artists, but I haven't been following maimai.

YMCK and Sta aren't from what I know, it's really hard to say for maimai cause their most known songs are commissioned from people not in house.

We definitely won't see Flower cause the songs have to be all new.

The Rose series and the 2000 series are pretty popular from Taiko, and Purple Rose Fusion and X-day2000 would be great crossovers IMO. I also really like Calculator, but that song is definitely strange.

It should also be mentioned that Jimmy Weckl already has original songs on MaiMai.

Kita saitama 2000 is a pretty awesome song, its one of the hardest in taiko, I bet it is pretty brutal here too.

No love for "Got more raves?"

Still, I am pretty curious how FLOWER's track will look like in Groove Coaster EX. Sure it's whored out everywhere, but the coaster track is the only hype I have with FLOWER.

Also, something tells me they'll all be rated 10 on EXTREME. GMR? could be a 9, but I highly doubt it.
