Man, Neowiz really needs to fix their leaderboards. They also need to fix the ranking friends system. Sometimes they add your total score for a specific line mode (2 or 3 lines), which would be adding Original, Premium, and Signature. But sometimes that doesn't happen, and you're left with the highest score per song that you've reached on any difficulty per line mode. I sometimes get, for example, NXC passing me in score for a specific song, but his record would be impossible to reach under just one difficulty. I might get 80,000 points as my high score for a song, and NXC might have 200,000 points, which would be impossible to reach playing just once, lol. In that case, my 80,000 score was counted as just one difficulty while NXC's counted and added all the diffculties for 2 lines or 3 lines.

Okay guys, Technika Q updated again today with 2 new music packs.
But the best part is that they're giving out FREE 10 Q POINTS for everyone! Sweet!

How does one get these 10 Q points?

There is a notif in my device, says something about the new update then "+ 10 Q something"
Clicked on it, got me 10 Q after the game loaded.

Oh, just noticed I have the 10 Q too. LOL
By the way, the new songlist is done. Looks a lot nicer than I thought it would.

You have "Every Morning", "Mukilteo Beach" and "Retention" added again on the last page. Was that intentional?

Hi all,

New to these boards as I just recently got DJMax Technika Q for IOS. Been purchasing some music packs and have been enjoying the game. I just had a couple of newbie questions:


1) How do you increase the "Total Score" that's shown above the song selection list? (Where it says Total Score and to the right also has "Your Rank Is..."

2) What are the Kakao Talk ID and Referral codes used for in regards to this game?

3) Is there a translation for the Options Menu or any other menus for this game anywhere?


Also, is the Referral code the code that's shown in the Options Menu on the 7th item down from the top (couple lines below "Technika Q Credits") ? If so, here is my info:

To answer your questions:

1.) Just play, the total score will update after sometime, just be patient.

2.) Kakao Talk ID is for adding friends to invite/add in to your friend list if he/she plays Technika Q; meanwhile referral codes are used to give you free 60 Q points IF you completed it (Get 15 people to put your code on their accounts).

3.) None as of yet, but you'll be familiarized once you know their functions.
[WARNING] Don't press the small button beside log out button(which is the yellow button with a small message cloud on it), it WILL RESET your progress!

Thanks for the info ! One more question - I seem to be stuck on the 3rd mission where I think you have to invite 3 friends. How exactly do you do this? I find KakaoTalk to be rather annoying to use and don't really like the fact that the game is tied to that to begin with. I'm sort of confused about the interface between DJMax Technika Q and KakaoTalk to be honest. Could anyone provide a step-by-step for this mission?

Also , could someone try adding my KakaoTalk ID and referral code and let me know if it works? Just want to be sure I got the right info. Here is the info again:

And if you happen to press it by accident, do NOT press the grey button on the left of the pop up window. That is the button that confirms deletion of your information, including Q points and your purchase history. It seems one would think that the green button on the right confirms deletion, since maybe the statement can be thought to read along these lines: "Are you sure you want to delete your data?" in which the green button is "yes" and the grey button is "no". But this is not the case. The green button means to cancel the deletion.

Speaking of, I can't believe how vulnerable it is to lose your data, including purchase history. Imagine someone purchasing the Complete Box and then having that glaring vulnerability that sucks out the money you spent on the game.

Are you sure you would lose things like Q points and song-packs/etc. that you purchased? I though purchases would actually be tied to the Itunes account used and only stuff like game score/progress would be reset.

I have a dummy account on my iPhone that I mess around with. I've withdrawn my data on it several times, and I can confirm that you lose all of your Q points and all of your purchases in the store when you earn Q points without using real money. I really don't know what happens if you purchase Q points with real money and then proceed to delete your data.

I'm native Korean playing Technika Q in US with my Android phone, so maybe I can help for some issues that you have.
(Might be my English is not perfect.)

Your purchases are tied up with the Kakaotalk Account, not a iTunes(ios) account or google(Android) account.
So, if you reset your data, it cannot be restored (Even if you send a mail to Neowiz it cannot be restored - I have read this information in the Korean Technika Q forums.)
I agree with the comment that data is so vulnerable...... but the application keeps warning about the deletion of data while you load the music. "If you reset your data, it cannot be restored after that"

However, if you change your tablet/phone and want to restore your purchases, you can simply type your Kakaotalk account and password at first time and it will be restored. No matter iOS/Android your tablet/phone is, you can transfer your purchases to new one!

So you're saying that if I wanted to switch to a different device and I have NOT deleted my data at any point, I can resume playing on my account, with purchases of Q points and all? For example, if I bought a music pack on my account but decide to transfer that data to a new device, would I still keep that music pack?

What happens if I end up deleting my data but then I decide to transfer my account to a different device? I assume that deleting your data does just that, while also erasing your purchase history even if you want to transfer everything to a different device.

If you have a purchase record on kakaotalk account, you can share it to any other ios/android device with that account.
For example, if you buy some music packs and Q points in android phone and want to enjoy them in iPad, just login in iPad with same kakaotalk account and you can download music packs without additional payments. it also shares q points.

If you have reset your data, then you lose your whole purchase records - deleted from kakaotalk account and there is no way to restore.
