The differences are minor, they are scarcely different, they're there for people that like seeing what their score is in ______ format. All in all, the same amount of work is put in to calculate the scores. Also, SM 3.9 - 0

I'm out too. It would have been a lot more simpler if we just used SM 3.9 instead of SM 5.

You can still vote to use sm 3.9. Just do what Mr.Music did.SM5 has 3 "can't" and SM 3.9 has 0. So SM 3.9 is in the lead. if you want to use SM 3.9 and can't run SM5 just increase the number by SM5 by one. I'm betting SM 3.9 will be the default, but we have to wait and see.

Well this com. is a little bit mish mash. Its all over the place, is a bit hectic, and a little controlled. I'm out, sorry dude. Good luck on this tournament though. And Plus giving the co-manager to a 12 year old is a bad idea. No offense but Chewi, Inexsertion, or Tele would make better candidates for controlling this.

If you have a Mac running Lion you can BootCamp Windows 7 (I don't think BootCamp supports XP anymore) and run 3.9 that way. It might seem like a lot to do for one program but it's not difficult, will run at native speeds and is at least an option to consider.

Fun fact: SN2 scoring is actually percentage scoring with a lot of places.
Anyway, percentage is how much of a song you've completed basically. All Marvs gets you 100% while anything below that will get you a 99.9% or less.

Okay. We'll use percentage scoring. That way anyone can use any version of SM they want because I really don't want to exclude anyone.

It's not that hard to download 3.9 if you don't have it. It's compatible with everyone's computer as well.
Since that seems to be the easiest for everyone to use, I'm assuming that's what we're doing then? With percentage scoring of course. I'm new to that - there's no other percentage scoring method than the default, right?

It would be calculated manually. The score would be determined by the qauntity of judgements.

Sounds good, except that the judgement window can be altered too depending on the theme. For instance, the stepmania defaults are different than the X2 CS theme I have installed right now.
I'm assuming we're going by default then?
