We will vote for the best simfile of the week.
However the top 5 will be the best from each teammate.

1st: Team Red (for being frist, they get a member from the White team)
2nd Team Blue
3rd: Team Yellow
4th: Team Black
5th: Team White (for being last, they lose a member to the red team)

We vote for best simfile overall. Say Blinded No More's file has the most votes and he's on team RED. Team red wins.

I think I already did, but to clarify I vote for Toon's banner.

But if, say, Blinded No More has 12 votes and the rest of his team has a cumulative total of 0, and on another team each of the five members has 5 votes each, would Blinded's team still win?

Think of it like a Rally race. If Team A has four cars, one car finishes 1st and the other three finish dead last, Team A wins. Even though Team B came in at 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

Should the rule be changed to you can't vote for your own teams files then?

I have some ideas I want to post here.

Teams.
Having just "Red/Blue/Green/Etc Team" sounds kinda boring.
Can we have the names be these here:
Alpha Team RED
Beta Team BLUE
Delta Team GREEN
Team Gamma GOLD
Team Epsilon SILVER

I have this cool idea where each of the teams are a militaristic group going against an enemy and their simfiles (songs) are their weapons. If they choose the right weapon and such they "defeat the enemy" and are also racing against the other teams. So when Alpha Team RED (with a Red theme on banners, graphics, and/or their team logo) wins, their Song pack/ Group Folder for Stepmania has a Red Crown or some sort of medal showing that they won that battle. Each battle (week) takes place in a different theater. So, Week 1 is located in the North American Theater and each team picks songs that reflect this. They don't necessarily have to be FROM North America but they can just be something that's in English/Spanish/French, or have something that references North America like [America] Close My Eyes For Me / D-Crew feat DENNIS GUNN (DJ Yoshitaka SCRATCHING) from beatmaniaIIDX 11: IIDXRED. The genre there is America so it would fit. Then we go to Week 2 with things being centered in Japan or East Asia with songs that are referencing countries in that area. We don't HAVE to do all of this, I just thought it would be a cool little feature and would almost be like the Zukin Wars from DDR SN2.

Oh and I was going to make a Narrator Pack for SM when I had some extra free time to go along with this.... Yeah that's optional for people to download, by the way.
