We have found centipedes off and on throughout the past 3 years at my schools. It's honestly not too gross (since they aren't very big) but it's annoying because all you hear are the girls going:
Also, during my 7th Grade year, there was a grease fire in the cafeteria. They made everyone evacuate, even though it was extinguished instantly.
And the worse part is, they stopped making french fries. Well, they didn't stop, but what they were giving us was floppy potato sticks.
Stupidest moments of school were when they dubbed me the fag.
"EYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAII~!!!!!!!!!!!"

Okay, humiliation time.
On my senior year in high school, we were having a class, then some girls near me were snickering, the teacher approached them and the girls whispered something in her ear. After class, the teacher led me to the corner of the room and told me that my fly was unzipped at that time.
Oh boy. Super humiliation.

This one week at my school there were a lot of fights, like 6. There was a rumor going around saying that if there were 10 fights we would get the rest of the week off.
There were 4 more fights.
No week off, just lots of yelling from principals.
Edit: math fail

in my sophmore year in high school, we had free icecream, and then this table across from me and my friends a group of kids were aggeravting this asian kid to throw his icecream at someone, so he did, and then the next thing I knew the vice principal tackled the asian, and he got suspended.

Why would you get tackled for throwing icecream? I can understand if you had some brass knuckles on or something, but just because you throw icecream..?

well our vice principal was a really built guy, and I guess the asian kid was a trouble maker, and I think the vice princpal was telling him not to do it. over and over again. it happened so fast.

You're going to love this one:
6th grade:
In P.E. we had this little Dance Dance Revolution unit going on. I was SO excited because I love that game so much and that I was an expert at it (still am). Apparently we were playing In the Groove. I didn't care. I like that game too. It was amazing! In the gym they pulled down this giant overhead screen and there were two cobalt flux pads and the others were just directional mats. And they turned off the lights. What we did was each 3 minutes or so we rotate to the next pad (you would only get a chance to be on one of the metal mats once). However we only played like basic mode or something on workout mode. One day we had a little boys vs girls contest going on and of course the boys won! All thanks to me. I'm serious! The boys were thanking me because the losers had to do push-ups. =) And then something caught off guard for me on the last day of the unit. My P.E. teacher challenged me for a one on one contest! I freaking schooled him! Oh man that was such good memories; and that was 4 years ago. I will never forget them...

That sounds like after school in third grade for me except it was with a primetime teacher and he made a bet with me: if I beat him and a fifth grader that knew what he was doing, he owed me $20. I spent the $20 towards getting myself my first DDR game (DDR Supernova)

Ahh, back then, when I was in elementary school. We had a non-unlocked SN2 CS. I remember you were OK if you could pass Volcano
, you were good if you could pass volcano
and a legend if you could pass volcano
. Back then I was the only one that could pass it on
. Now I can pass it on
. I took a good 2 year break from playing on pad and started playing on
last fall but didn't really start padding on Expert until this spring, and now I play every day/other day. Needless to say, I gone from playing 5's (6's) to 9's (13's/14's) in a year

Wow that's a major improvement. How long have you been playing DDR?

LOL I started in third grade then purchased it near the end of third grade and played a little bit. For a couple of years I was idle, and then last year going into 6th grade I started playing again. I started doing it on a daily basis, every couple days or so, around May. In June, I could pass stuff like Rainbow Rainbow
with an A. Now I play almost every day and can AA it on
after playing it twice. I play much harder stuff like GOLD RUSH
, Shiny World
, Sakura
, stuff like that. Now, in 7th grade, I've awed my classmates, and play DDR every day trying to get better, and it's worked. I'm able to pass easier 15's (roppongi EVOLVED, CRAZY LOVE) with a C, and harder non-bosses. Honestly, I love the game and play it to death. It's just something I really enjoy.

Outstanding. And for a 12-year-old? Kudos to you my friend. I've always wanted to try roppongi EVOLVED and KIMONO PRINESS so badly! I have a really strong feeling that I can AA FC them. As soon as I get X2 in the mail I'm going to work on it. But man...that's amazing man. Truely amazing. Oh and not trying to spam or anything but I also make youtube DDR videos as well. You should check them out when you have the chance.

This was a college incident I just remembered recently. IDK if this counts but college IS a school so here it goes. I don't know how to classify this so sorry lol
I was in the common room playing Valkyrie Profile 2 on my projector and I had my sound system hooked up. I didn't have it LOUD but a nice volume so anyone could pretty much hear it. People would usually pass by since the main door was nearby so it was nice to have people to stop by to talk and such. I was fighting the final boss and then he yells out "YOU CANNOT ESCAPE FROM ME I WILL CUT YOUR LEGS FROM YOU!!!"
As he's yelling this at the top of his lungs, one of the residents enters the dorm... in a wheelchair.
Me: O_________________________________________O!!!!!!!!!!!
Him: *rolls away*
When I got back to my room, I told my roommate and we laughed so hard and freaked out at the same time so it was a "ROTFLMFAO! D: " kind of thing.
This moment brought to you by SD DESIGN.

"Wish I could change my username" |
I have had bad moments at school. My memories at school trace back from pre-school all the way to 5th grade.
1. Pre-school (2004-2005, Philippines)
One of my classmates, named Matthew, fought with me. I can't remember if I was able to take revenge or not.
2. 1st-3rd grade (2005-2008, Philippines)
When I did not follow directions, one of my school's nuns would touch me on the back with her index finger. Also, when I screamed while going back to the classroom, one of my classmates penalized me. While I was alone, I took out my PSP-1000 (which I still have, but don't use today) and played Wipeout Pure on it, unaware that the school disallows electronic devices of any kind.
3. 4th grade (1st try, 2008-2009, Philippines)
I remember witnessing a few of my classmates fighting with each other, insulting, etc. Also, I even remember seeing them throw a math book at each other and destroy it. What an embarrassing moment it was.
4. 4th grade (2nd try, 2009-2010, United States)
I remember having to try 4th grade again, this time in Sacramento, California, because I got a bad Filipino Language grade (75%?! Why?!). However, this was really a good year because I got to see a friend of mine whom I would walk home with almost everyday.
5. 5th grade (2010-2011, United States)
On September 20, 2010, I was accused of something that I can't remember which. That led to my school's former vice principal putting me in a two-teacher class (my original teacher was Mrs. Lupinetti). If it weren't for what I did, that would not have happened. Being in a class with two teachers was really fun for me!

In elementary school for me (1981~1989), we still had physical beatings as a means of punishment (read: "The Strap", which was not an uncommon method of punishment around that time in some countries; I think it might still be used today somewhere in the world).
There is an amusing article here on its end of use in Canada:
http://www.cea-ace.ca/education-canada/article/banning-strap-end-corporal-punishment-canadian-schools
In high school there were fights all the time, and in my graduating year (1995) our school (North Park Collegiate) has the most incidents of major school violence (read : bloodshed and serious injury including hospitalization) and (unrelated, partially) teen pregnancies. I was never in any major incident with a student. My typing teacher forced upon us the "2 spaces after every period rule" and would rap our knuckles with a long wooden ruler if we didn't; as a result it is literally "beaten" into me to leave 2 spaces. In any formal writing, I have to go back and search/replace the 2 spaces with 1 because it takes a long time/concentration to stop myself from doing it except on my cell phone (non-smart phone) which takes forever to enter any character anyways and I'm trying to save on characters)
University was pretty tame in comparison.

Odd Christmas moment in college I just remembered. One of the secretaries where I worked printed little stockings for all the faculty and staff and put them on the wall. Each had our names on it and mine was in between her and the other secretary. I didn't hate the secretary in question but she was one of those that was too bitchy for her own good. My stocking was a bit different it had a hand reach up to the head secretary and a fist punching down the bitch secretary since she was under the impression that I didn't like her.
While we were all enjoying the Christmas potluck, people start complimenting the stockings and then a professor innocently asks OUT LOUD, "What is that big thing hanging below Danny?"
me:
!
Everyone in the office started laughing including the vice dean...
Needless to say I took the entire situation as a compliment.
