StepMania accomplishments thread (56k!)

Sorry, I was just being very cautious since I was expecting everyone to be better than me so they would mock me for it; I know that even you are better than me on pad these days before you were unfairly forced to quit. On AIJ I would get DESTROYED if I posted any of my achievements (that and I've pissed off some of the American players, not my fault they're a bunch of no lives who decided to troll me for no good reason apart from sucking at the game -_-). Now to summon some facts:

Altar is really a hard 13 tbh, but thanks. I can triple star up to 13, 14s are annoying to triple star.

I can pass up to 18 on a very good day (I've passed 2 18s on Index ) and can double star up to 15 if I'm comfortable with the song.

For me a triplestar is still an achievement, I have yet to quad anything tbh. That said, I have at least 25 tristars, so I'm kinda used to FAing. That and I've played SM for 3-4 years.

Other fun facts:
- Highest score per difficulty (18, 17, 16, 15, 14 difficulty respectively): 73.49% (Facebreaker), 90.86% (To Make The End of Battle), 95.19% (We Luv Lama), 98.52% (Days of Endless Light), 98.18% (The Prototype, Seoul PlayR's version)
- This is the keyboard I use: Genius Slimstar 220 Pro. Keys are worn in so I can tap/slide across it, making fast stuff like 200BPM easy. Do want the same one IzzySM has, but for now this'll do.

I meant do you play with Index (left and right index fingers) or Spread (index and middle fingers from both hand, typically on ASKL)? Also congrats on the pass, Polaris is a 13, but the 16th runs are broken up so it's not a hard 13 as such, but I wouldn't say it's an easy 13 either. Since you've passed it, I'd like to see you own my Destiny Lovers and Shake UR Body files. You can do it. (Y)

Index is easier to be accurate with but it's totally possible to be accurate with Spread (classic SM example of how Strangeprogram is tough for spread players and not that bad for Index players. Well, excluding the retarded jumps in the middle LOL).

Destiny Lovers is quite tough for an 11, seriously. It's easy until you hit the chorus, then the 16th run just before the solo isn't that nice to combo. Solo itself is quite brutal, 16th roll followed by a 16th run with candles that has a Tell jump at the end. After the 12ths, another 16th run and you're home free (well, once you hit the hand and dodge the mines ). I have yet to pass it on pad, but I did come very close.

Good thing I didn't ask you to play 115, now that's crazy. *evil laugh* Anyway, that 10 second run is waaaay too hard for a 10 so I rated it an 11. The first 5 seconds of it has no candles so you can keep your combo up until the tougher patterns emerge. (Y) I've passed Hard and Expert on pad, so it's certainly doable if you're OK with 11s, particularly harder ones like Destiny and July. Hard is getting a repattern anyway, but I'll keep the old steps in an edit.

Another request, play my A Little Less Conversation file. Slow and steady streams, basically an easier, slower version of Summer Kamp. You can always rate mod it so you can get used to playing faster speeds.

Also posting some Tachyon Gamma scores tonight, songpack is made of so much win. I just wish I wasn't so lazy, I could've submitted something to the pack. Oh well.

Took 3 tries. First was sightread but I ragequit cos I couldn't FEC the 16ths and had trouble keeping a combo. Second I died on the 24ths, but 3rd time I passed it.

Well played on passing your 2nd 13, once you feel comfortable play harder 13s like Uber Rave. Once you can do that you'll be onto 14s next. Then you can try my evil 115 file.

Exactly what Rhea said to me haha. O_o Thanks though. I usually step stuff I like but it's not necessarily stuff I love (read: heavy metal ).

From 13 to 14 is gonna be quite the jump; with 14s they are usually speed related. You'll either be dealing with 24ths if you play a slow 14 (130/140BPM) or 16ths on a fast 14 (e.g. 200BPM). With 13s you can just pick a slow streamy file (130/140) and pass, with 14s you don't really have that choice. I'm sure you can do it though, just don't expect instant results.
