Holy fucking shit!! That chart was insane! I'd love to get my grubby feet on that chart. Too bad konami only gives like 2 songs good charts and gives everything else garbage charts.

There's definitely more than two good (or rather, difficult) charts. If you look at the songlist for the game, anything 16 or above is at least as difficult as an ITG 11, and theres a plentyful amount of them.
I would be so bold as to say that the average difficulty of songs in X2 is at least that of ITG 2.

Sorry for posting again but I had to comment on this. I liked the chart, but those tempo changes were completely hellish.
This is exactly the kind of note charts I want to play. I hate saying to myself "I wish these note charts were more detailed!" How can you have a good note chart if all it's going to do is stick to percussion(sp?) part of the song. That's just boring in 90% of the note charts most people will ever play.
Excuse me if I've been spoiled by years of IIDX and Popn'music. I love complicated music.

Never needed to be reminded of that. That is why we needed ITG.
so harsh pie! Already have plenty of KBMPs. Gives my fingers a pretty good workout. I still wish I was playing pop'n. I can say that I did beat at least one 40.
I can say that I love that konami is actually trying to put more technical charts in X2, BUT these charts still only account for a very small percentage of most of the charts in the game. I wish they would do what they do in other bemani games. Give us a listing of songs for a certain difficulty so that everyone would have plenty to play no matter what their ability is. I mean give us more hi-level charts while still catering to their main audience. People's skill has risen compared to years ago, so give us more to keep us coming back. Doesn't this all sound like bad logic? I don't think so.
In pop'n music I loved how once I got to say...lvl 37 songs, there were a whole lot of them to play. I didn't feel as though there weren't enough of them to play. It was perfectly balanced.

My favorite songs include Mendes, FELM and Valkyrie Dimension (Himiko is my favorite BEMANI song to date). To this day, I still laugh my ass off at how ridiculously bad the Another/Challenge charts are for those songs. I love complicated music too but only because I love fast rhythms.
If there were more of "technical" charts, boss songs would cease to be special. It'll turn into another ITG where everything had to have a Challenge chart and made everything bland by the time ITG2 came out. Hell, I recall most of the ITG2 11's followed some faint ticking in the background.

I mean these are my opinions on some of the newer charts, and I'm sure there are plenty of people ready throw stones at me. A message for any konami reps that EVER read this thread, please hand out the difficulty equaly in the future. I don't need like 100 easy charts, and 1 hard WTF!?1111 note chart. That is all.
