Were there any significant KOs cut from SIRIUS that are also in DDR? That would probably give you a good idea if anything is cut.

I'm excited to see the licenses they have for this. I hope they are not just the same as the home version.

gentle stress, DYNAMITE RAVE, END OF THE CENTURY, Drivin', LOVE SHINE, Himawari were removed in SIRIUS. I think those are already removed in X.

The gentle stress remix was removed in SN2, and the original one never showed up in arcade versions after that 2nd Mix club version.

Some, if not all, may be in the game. Master Lists usually have songs that may never appear in any DDR game.

This almost never happens. The only example I can think of off the top of my head is Timepiece Phase II. You can pretty much claim with certainty, every song on that list will appear in a game eventually. Maybe not for a year, but eventually. Ubertreffen was on the list as far back as SuperNOVA2 IIRC, but didn't appear until X.

Also, we know Praise You; it's the Fatboy Slim song on HP3. It may port to AC, not likely but who knows, but it's not an unknown.

It actually happens quite often. Timepiece Phase II appeared on Strike's Master List with maybe four other songs that haven't appeared in DDR (the only one of which I remember off the top of my head is SAKURANBO). Most of the songs that are on the list that don't appear are usually licenses. There are tons that haven't made it in the game (Stronger, I Would Die 4 U, Don't Call Me Baby are three I believe have appeared that I can think of offhand...all of which I would have liked, Konami)

While I wouldn't qualify that as tons, what master list(s) did those come from? I only started paying attention to master lists pretty recently, so I don't know how common this was in old DDR. I know they often made graphics for licenses far in advance of actually acquiring them (what game was it that had at least 5 or 6 song graphics that were never included? Euromix2 had a few too, IIRC), but I don't know if these every appeared on the master list at some point.


Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was never on a master list, only appeared on the royalty network as being licensed by KONAMI.

I think that Groove Is In The Heart and One Word (Chris Cox Remix) are in the master songlist somewhere... it would be cool to have those in DDR~

I don't see why none of the HP3 licenses wouldn't make it over. I mean, it was pretty clear to me that DDR HP3 was the "Let's get Wii owners into the arcades." mix with the removal of hand markers from the main gameplay and all, not to mention the addition of nearly every other feature save for doubles and edit mode. The charts are exactly the same for the songs that are shared with X2 CS, and I'm willing to bet that most if not all of them will show up on the 360/PS3 release. They probably already have doubles steps because of this anyway so it's not like that would be any extra work.

Not to mention the logo change from the CS release. They could've clearly used the CS logo and stuck with it but they didn't. It clearly looks like a move to try to make it a more universally acceptable game amongst all the customers from the different platforms out there.
