It could be a placeholder for another revival as that's an early screenshot, we won't know for sure until the game gets released in a month's time.

I wouldn't count on it. Why would a revival be placingholding another revival? It's not like the song it's holding is still being made or something, it's a song already on a DDR. They could easily show it in screenshots.

Baile le Samba is a terrible song anyway, so I don't really care if it is or isn't on DDR X2.

Soooo looking at the screenshots, we all see that there is a "Request Mode" in the game right?

I wonder if THIS mode ties in with DMM (Dice Master Mode) as to you pass the song on whatever tile you land on and you get a "tile" picture, but you would need to complete the entire board with that one character to possibly get the character's "Request Mode" complete picture?

I don't know, but it could be a possibility as to why that mode is there...but then again, it's a MODE, so there should be a few extras included with that mode that we might not get to know now until the game is released .

Anyways, I went to Gamestop today and still no word on the 360 and PS3 versons. But X2 was listed only as a bundle (so far.)

Yeah, you probably won't hear of the 360 or PS3 versions until early next year.

I'm not sure DJ Hero will reach the popularity of GH/Rock Band, but I guess we'll have to see.

It's become the definition of "DJ Game", which is the problem.

Konami should prpduce more copies of Beatmania To The X, to capitolise on confused parents, and people who don't own an Xbox 360!

It's published by Activision and has the word "Hero" in the title. It's going to sell millions.

Not to mention that they have taken the "DJ" gameplay and innovated it so that it's easy for beginners, but harder for experts, and you have a lot more gimmicks on the game + music that's mixed together that in my opinion sound good = INSTANT SUCCESS.

Activision works like this for their music games apparently .

So, I wonder if we'll end up getting new oni charts ala Venus in X. I don't think any of the JP KOs from X JP were understepped to the level that Venus was in SN2, but I would like to see Nadeshiko Rock maybe get a 12 or 13 oni chart.

I'd like to see the licenses pick up a few. :X

If it is in X2, it'll be in a combination of the following:
-A mission
-A song in the board game
-A waste of space in the song list

I think the reason why they gave Venus a new oni chart is because it was supposed to be a 9-footer, but wasn't at all, so they gave it a new chart so it could finally feel like the 9-footer it should've been.

Other than that, are those all the Songs? Bummer. As a DDR fan, i'm not that impressed. At least the licenses are modern.
