"jubeat knit one, purl two"
Exaggeration much?

And I don't just mean me. Overall, there's a mixed opinion. Even FELMDemon, the boss song fanatic, has criticized it.

Um, are you approximating 12ths with 32nds? Because that's really not cool, and not necessary anymore, and that's what it looks like you're doing. I don't have uni3 myself though, so if the chart really does use 32nds (and I doubt the viewer in the game allows you to tell the difference), then fine.

I can confirm the game's actual data does indeed use 32nds.

The chart is perfect, I used both SSQ and training mode (Edit mode breaks the song).

Okay, I guess it's just Konami being lame then.

O_o Eww... Why can't Konami actually learn something? I'm definitely not a good step chart-er person, but I do know rhythm. I should go to Konami and tell them how to actually do rhythms properly... And suggest putting 32nds and 24ths in edit mode! XD

KOJ now uses almost exact 12ths (24ths are still an issue for them), but KOH has always done triplets their own way. It used to be laughably bad; now they've smartened up a bit and are using a close approximation akin to what KOJ did in the pre-SuperNOVA2 days. But, yes, it's still terrible. The Universe games always have such a broken engine...

Since nobody else has mentioned it, I'll say it. 888 oni's 753 steps put it right up there with ITG 12s and 13s in terms of step count. It's fast enough that I'm sure it's harder than Monolith, so it's at least a 12 if it doesn't qualify as a 13.

In Stepmania you would get a full combo count of 777...now just imagine if they actually made it 888. Dead

888 Oni is probably an easy to mid 13 as it is very similar, but less difficult, than ReaF from ITG Rebirth (Which is technically a 13, but it seems harder than the resident 14 of the mix, Chromatic Blitz.)

Uuuuh, it's just Edit mode which doesn't allow anything faster than 16th. Just like every other DDR game's Edit mode.

? I wasn't talking about Edit Mode. How could I be; no Edit Mode has ever allowed the placement of 24ths. I mean the engine itself, how KOH designed it to handle triplets and beyond.

They, in the past, used a hilarious blend of 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths, which was just awful. They've smartened up about it now, but it's apparently not at KOJ's level yet (which is sad because not even KOJ has it *perfect*).

I am willing to do all the DLC aswell, one problem. I need US Microsoft points. If anybody can donate even the slightest amount of money or buy me the points. This will help ZIV alot as a community as we will have all the DLC before Christmas.

I'm pretty sure both sides use triples perfectly now. =/
