UK prices:

£109.99 for Normal Edition. (~$175.98)
£169.99 for Renegade Edition. (~$271.98)

I am sorry, but I'm not paying that much for either games in the UK. If the prices were £54.99 and £84.99, it makes much more sense.

Well latest news is that they are now starting to make "set-ups" across the US starting with a Las Vegas location as of yesterday (i think) and it will start popping up either in malls or at your local Gamestop's from now until...well...the game is released

Yeah, whoever buys it at retail price is gonna get ripped off bad. Online prices are slightly better:

Normal Edition: £89.99 (-£20 off RRP) ~$143.98
Renegade Edition: £129.99 (-£40 off RRP) ~$207.98

DJ Hero is as much as a bm ripoff as PIU is a DDR ripoff.

I'l express my opinion: I'm not anti DJ Hero, but I'll just say that whats the point in getting it if even the normal package is not affordable to the common gamer. Seriously $175 for just the game and the controller is way too much(Even the online asking price of $143 is pushing it). It should have started at mb 70 or 80 at least, so a regular gamer can go in the store and try out the game. What were they thinking? Seriously. The game isn't gonna make much money if they overprice a new product, specially when the economy is still on edge right now. I wanna try out the game, but now I can't because it's too pricey. Activision seriously needs to rethink their price point with this game. And another thing, Special editions should come later, if the normal package sells well enough. Offering up a special edition right at the games release is another bad idea, Specially if it's 1 - almost 2X as much as the normal package and 2 - If the game gets bad reviews, the SE's are just gonna sit on the shelves and not sell even one. Thats my opinion on DJ Hero. Even though it's probably gonna get good reviews and it's gonna sell, I think Activision seriously needs to rethink the way they market games, specially with the price point.
