Money issues prevent me from getting an external HDD that large. I need one that I can carry with ease without the need for an external power brick. I have a 250GB external HDD (Western DIgital) for some of my anime, while the older stuff is archived on DVD. I have anime showings (usually newer stuff) twice a week, hence the portability factor. Having a 1TB external and my laptop in my bag is like carrying an XBOX in said bag...a pain in the arse.


Index is one of the series a friend recommended to me. I might pick it up after Coyote Ragtime Show.

Anyone heard of "Tower of Druaga"? It's pretty friggin funny, but it's got a deeper storyline beneath all the one-liners and jokes.

I found this cool anime called "Junjou Romantica". It's way cool.

I've heard of it, but I'm not into anime in that genre, but I think I'd be willing to make an exception for Paradise Kiss and Honey & Clover.

Has anyone ever seen Cardcaptor Sakura before? I haven't, and I want other people's opinions.

It's a great series, even for its age (1998). It lasted 70 episodes, with two movies thrown into the mix. Just please don't watch the butchered dub (Cardcaptors), as it focused more on the action than on the backstory, which made NO sense in this case.

One related series is Tsubasa Chronicle.

Cardcaptor Sakura is a must-see. I really loved the series. It's a shame I haven't seen any of the movies.

The drawing style doesn't look as old as, let's say GTO or very CG-like as in the Ghost in the Shell Series. I definitely recommend that you watch it.

Black Jack (it's about an unlicensed doctor who charges a lot to cure patients with rare or sometimes fatal illnesses)
Astroboy 2003 (the remake of the classic series)
Captain Tsubasa: Road to Dream/2002 (features a 20-something Tsubasa fighting for Brazil, Spain, etc.)

As for the youtube account thing I am still interested in doing video game videos but everyone these days are doing videos in widescreen high definition.
I have a widescreen plasma but I cant record the way I normally did with my old TV.
I'll have to get a DVD recorder or something.

I had no idea that Lucky Star had a dub

One thing is confusing me though. Are they all in the same grade? It started to confuse me in the second episode when they were asking each other to go over the answers for their homework.
