There's Paseli on the new cab? I'm certain that's going to be removed. Also, was it set to free play since there was no card swiper?

There never was Paseli in the cabs, and the "free play" thing is only for the first credit, which, to give massive kudos, is for a full 3 songs, instead of just the first song!
Anyways, I just got back from Round1, and it's still amazing that we actually have the real deal in the US. If the constant barrage of people surrounding the cab is any indication, it's looking to be the next Maimai in terms of popularity.
So, to answer some questions I had, there's no language selector (it's a baked-in English translation a la Sound Voltex), and I was able to capture the datecodes, for anyone wanting that: It seems the initial US version is 2026011600, and the current version is 2026020400; I know this because the left cabinet got stuck with an update, and it stayed at 29% the entire time I was there, so everyone had to play on the right cab. XD
Also, Chou Extra Stage is called Super Extra Stage, here!

Fun fact: The RGB lighting on the sides and speakers seem to be US-exclusive, so we have the opposite of what happened with the Japanese DDR X cabs when Raw Thrills made the US ones.

So... the game's left untranslated???

i think there's an english update now. so thankfully it won't be untranslated. not sure whether or not to share photos as i don't know the original source, but if anybody has them please share them.

oh for sure it'll be popular. people who i've never seen talk about pop'n seriously before seem to be hyped. kinda excited to have real rivals in that case lmao
