I would never upload an incomplete simfile, since people don't care enough about user-made sims to update them whenever possible. I especially wouldn't do that if it's a contest entry, because what you submit is official.

I'm wondering what benefit you could possibly gain by submitting early anyways.
Right now I'm sitting on mostly complete simfiles, but they're still not going up. I intend to go over and revise them later, and again after that.

Arctic Wolves: You can do that, but Ty suggested people rate and review the simfiles before judging begins, so I'd just upload it whenever it's ready. I wouldn't worry about how early it is.

Kynayo: Absolutely. You're allowed to enter any song into the contest as long as you plan on finishing it before June 30th.

Oh, like I said before (but no one replied), I have a problem. I downloaded this song and had it an extra stage only, which is a problem for me to get to now with ITG2. How can I make it a non extra stage only song?

Well, you can open the .sm in Notepad and change #SELECTABLE:NO; to #SELECTABLE:YES;, or delete the .crs files in the song folder or turn hidden songs off.

Replace the Asaki song I entered with Vodka, by Morena.

DDRDAIKENKAI: I don't think this counts as a critique, but the music for Buggie Technica is TOO LOUD. I might be able to reduce the volume, but I've never tried that in Audacity.

If you're using Audacity, you can select the entire song and select Effects: Normalize to attempt to make it more level.

try making a DWI file by going into edit mode for the song and save it (no changes needed), then delete the SM file then edit and save it again (if you want the SM file instead of the DWI). Then you should have that setting gone.

KKiONI has a good short term resolution, but since you'll need to access the .sm file to adjust some of the information (especially synchronization), you're better off in the long term using Notepad to open it.
