So they are going to hold the Olympic games this year in Tokyo. There's a bit of skepticism on how it would all turn out, but I am still looking forward to the opening ceremony. I was saying to myself, "If they don't have an homage to AKIRA, then I am walking out." In the meantime, Daff and I have decided: What if we were to host our own Olympic games? Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...
The Olympic rings represent the five regions of the world: Europe, Africa, Asia, America, and Oceania. Their colors can also be found in every country's flag without exception. And in this contest, they will be found in every simfile without exception.
For this week, you will step a song that has any of the colors featured in its title or artist name: RED, BLUE, YELLOW/GOLD, GREEN, or BLACK.
Examples:
In case you are wondering: You can use different languages or variations of your color, like say for red, you choose rojo, akai, crimson, etc. However, don't abuse the loophole and pick colors like maroon, aquamarine, purple, or grey. They MUST be colors featured in the Olympic rings. (And white doesn't count, even though it's part of the flag)
Now in regards to voting...
Thanks to that lovely poll I submitted two weeks earlier, it's decided that we will be using the more modern voting system: the x/10 ratings system we've been using for the last year. You have TWO weeks to vote on every Simfile for Week 1. I will post the results on June 25th where I will be announcing Week 4's theme.
Send your votes and any questions regarding this week's theme to me, Daff, or KexMix via PM!

And does it also count if the artist's name has the color as part of their name, but not as a standalone word? (e.x. Blackpink)

Yes. Artist names count, and non-standalone words also count.

Okay, so there is some confusion over the deadline time, meaning I have to make another amendment...
The deadline is 1 pm in your respective time zone. This should account for countries with and without Daylight Savings Time.

That's fine, I have a couple of ideas anyway. These colors are used in WAY more song and artist names than I expected, haha.
