DanceMania is the best selection for licences because they have selected on Japan. How about European licences for DS? Very awful choice. Europe Konami was very stupid to spent a lot of time to find another horrible licences and spent a lot of money for nothing. I hope DDR X much like DDR Extreme 2 with more licences from DanceMania especially from previous Japan DDR. I miss Kiss Me (KCP Remix) so much and hope they give Oni difficulty.

Dancemania is not coming back. There hasn't been a new Dancemania album since about 2006, and it's looks like they're more interested in making these Trance albums now. It would not surprise me if Toshiba basically told Konami that the deal was off, and that they would have to pay X amount of dollars for every song they want. Case in point: SN. Although most of it's licenses came from Dancemania, they were cut oddly (Golden Sky, Modern Girl etc.), and were probably done by Konami themselves rather than by Toshiba. And Toshiba didn't do the soundtrack for SN (or SN2 for that matter).

This is probably also why you aren't seeing old licenses come back. I mean, I'm pretty sure Konami WANTED to put in Cartoon Heroes, Speed Over Beethoven, Freckles etc. in SN and SN2, because they were some of the more popular songs on past AC releases.

It's a shame too, Dancemania released some great albums, and I only hope that Konami finds a suitable replacement to fill the license spot. SN2's licenses were...so-so. I mean, most of them weren't even licenses. Trust, Switch, and Stealth were ON the SN2 OST (which specifically stated that no licenses would appear on it) and My Favorite Things, Ain't no Mountain High Enough, Burn Baby Burn, Faint, and Two Months Off were simply commissions. So, you get left with Angelus, Sunrise, Me Against the Music, and Unbelievable as "truly" licensed tracks.

So , is it possible if Konami give us old licences from previous DDR on next USA Home version DDR even they have trouble with DanceMania Toshiba EMI?

Is it possible if Konami persued Toshiba EMI to use old DanceMania like DanceMania Speed series, DanceMania X1 - X9 , and other old DanceMania album again? So many Songs that still never used from that DanceMania. Remember, only 2 songs came out from DanceMania X9 that used on DDR 5th Mix and DDR 6th Mix. Maybe Konami can use another songs that came out from DanceMania X9 or something like that and use it on next DDR. Of course, with agreement from Toshiba EMI.

I wonder "X" become SuperNOVA3 or something like that after several months left. Moreover, Konami must put Paranoia ~Respect~ becoz only that Paranoia never put on USA home version DDR. Planetary songs and some revival licences from prevoius Japan DDR.

Konami should dump the ddr extreme and add new ones in.
