What are the ideal controller setups for this? I'm running it on an iPad Pro 12.9, so it only has a USB Type C port.

Well-- I really like it. They gave us a whole bunch of free songs to play around with. The game runs smooth as f. It plays pretty well up to Level 7 on a iPad 12inch. I could not really ask for more---?
It's a portable IIDX. I mean... awesome right? I can take this game with me anywhere now. I can show it off to anyone at anytime.
I think the backlash for subscription is a bit over the top. 5-10$ a month for unlimited IIDX? We pay a dollar to play at the arcade.... My issue is that with the bashing of the game people will be encouraged to not even try it. You know... Maybe for people who have played IIDX for 20 years there are some issues. But as for me and any other casual rhythm player it will be a joy to finally experience IIDX.
As for it being ported to other App Stores, I'm sure they will do that in time. My only issue is this--- Where do I get a controller for this?? Maybe I will mod a USB keyboard for the iPad.?
One question though-- how do you raise or disable the shutter on landscape mode?

I get that for sure it’s IIDX easily accessible thru mobile. But let’s not forget every game Konami has released on mobile has been abandoned. That’s not a good record tbh. I still despise the subscription model, it has no keysounds, the videos are missing, this is a gimped IIDX experience, and it’s currently for Japan only and will likely stay Japan only.

The controller (entry model) can be connected to the iPad using Bluetooth.
The controller is sold in Konami style.
But now it is sold out and sold only in Japan.

That is the case for Android. Does not work on iPad.

And that's the reason why KONAMI made the new ENTRY MODEL KOC in the first place: because Bluetooth connectivity means that they don't necessarily have to be Apple-certified in order to work with iDevices.

If you were actually planning to use a controller with this, why not just play INFINITAS or LR2? The only real upside to the mobile version is portability.
