So since I'm so close to DC on my internship (a mere 20 miles or so), I went into the city today to catch the fireworks.
Totally worth it...until the trip back to the parking garage via the metro trains. Fireworks ended at 9:30; I got home ten minutes before Cinderella and I'm still not sure how I did it alive. One train car apparently = 200-ish hot, sweaty, impolite people. (For those interested, "metro trains" means "Orange Line from Federal Triangle to Vienna-Fairfax/GMU".)
But in any case, that's a check off my list of things to do as a citizen of the United States. Never again, I think.

My main problem with Justin Bieber is not his voice, but rather he just seems like a douchebag. My girlfriend told me about a video where he walks into a revolving door and he walks up to the guy filming and says something along the lines of "DID YOU GET THAT? I WALKED INTO THAT DOOR! I, JUSTIN BIEBER, WALKED INTO THAT DOOR OVER THERE!" as if anyone other than Justin Bieber fans would care.
The fact that he has an extremely high voice doesn't really bother me, because quite a few of the bands I personally listen to have high pitched vocals.

That would require that I see her in person. I gave instructions to my replacement at the arcade if they ask about me, that I died of knee cancer. I'm not going back to that mall ever again.
