Wow there hasn't been a change for values under 100 for a while! I believe DDR 2014 still used the same algorithm to calculate values under 100 as SuperNOVA 2 did. So a change is sure interesting. Well since all the values became smaller, I think we all know what that means...

A super hard boss song(s)! (Or it could just be an adjustment to make existing boss songs have more reasonable values.)

Default, BPM, "Genre" (Pops, Anime & Games, Variety and HinaBitter I believe), BEMANI sort, Difficulty and ABC (all of this is based on delaywailing video. He didn't show ABC sort but I doubt they'll remove that sorting...)

A bit late, but I liked the X-Special edits. Especially Max 300 and Paranoia Rebirth. Of course I'd always rather have new songs but that doesn't make new charts for old songs bad or lazy.

2014 gave us new charts for Malacca, Paranoia -clean mix-, and Kind Lady (RIP). I dunno we might get a few? 2013 gave us challenge charts for almost everything on the default list and I bet that's happening again too. So besides that.

Hey, can anyone provide me a video of MAX 300 being played on DDR A please? Strange request, but I want to see if it has it's BG video like other people say. Thanks If you manage to find it.

The only one logged here is the 'Try Amusement Tower', but since DDR A is an update to 2014, I'd imagine most, if not all, places that had the 2014 game now have A installed.

I'll make this short.

After DDR A being release players like GINXYASU, Umehara!, Maxwell, myself, and others (predominately MA players) all seem to agree on one thing. Something about the timing is different from this mix from every mix since X1. Now I could make a blanket statement and just say it is easier but that wouldn't be fair. With my knowledge first hand and communications with other MA players, here are a few things that seem to be true. #1, and most importantly, it seems that all of the Magic BPMs (150, 180, and 200) no longer have the same effect they once had. Though I haven't experienced this first hand yet, I do trust ginxyasu's opinion on this matter. He also went on to explain that songs seem to suffer far less from drifting which he believes help contribute to songs being easier to MA. In my experience, though I haven't gotten too many incredible scores yet, I do think achieving high scores on this mix will probably be easier. One example I do have was my 2nd time playing. On my 2nd song, I picked Bad Apple and ended up destroying the first 200 combo. It felt strange since I'm sure if I were playing on 2014, I would have been getting perfects throughout.


Ok, I definitely need more time playing the mix to really tell the difference and see how it affects scoring long term. But for now, I feel hesitant to fairly compare scores achieved between the two mixes which is very unfortunate.

@Dr.D, according to BEMANIwiki - the way the game does the judgment has been changed. Confirmed by U1 on the 126th BEMANI Live Stream.

Am I the only one thinking Zodiac Fall sounds more like U1 than wac? Since he's the sound director now, maybe he made more than one default new song, like Naoki used to do back in the days. I mean, the artist name shouts wac, but not the song in my opinion.
