Bump, the next Random Select Festival starts tomorrow. Kind of peculiar, I wonder if Frgmnts is the next song.

Just got a New Music ULC for Frgmnts about an hour ago, and successfully unlocked the new Master chart. Sharing it now if anyone wants to try it out for themselves.

Quick tip for the flick note chains: You can slide one finger into a hold note then slide the original one away, and the hold note will still be maintained. Very useful for the S-shaped chain.

Well.. my luck is different but no sad...

I get (again) TWO New Music until now, YUKARI (47th attempt, selecting HARD difficulty) and AKATSUKI (111th attempt, selecting a trolled MASTER difficulty, really, i don't expected that tune), spending a total of 555 tickets.

Current luck here is average with a certain "I keep trolling you" aura.

Around 450 Premium Ticket spent so far and I have got 2 One Chance and at least 7 ULC

- ツカイステ・デッドワールド / around 150 Premium Tickets spent, Standard Difficulty
- Landing on the moon (Instrumental Version) / Around 420 Premium Tickets spent, Hard Difficulty. (Just unlocked it a few minutes ago).

I really want to unlock a NM ULC, but these RSF are always so troublesome and disappointing. Ironically, I've got a really few repeated songs so far on this particular event (no more than 7). That's really odd, since I always get a repeated song every 8-10 tries in previous Random Festivals.

Next Break Artist Collab TEAM BATTLE #3 announced. Total Score Attack rules and 4 players to a team. Starts 1/26.

The prizes are two boring slow rock songs:

* Flowerwall / 米津玄師 for winning 2 sections
* Hopes Bright / WHITE ASH for earning 500000 cumulative points.

The individual ranking prize is a Flowerwall game skin for the top 1000 players.

Ok, I thought (personally) Nu Heat was a bit boring, but this two songs lead the list now. I don't even know if I really want to get them. About the game skin... average, nothing impressive.

I won't spend too many tickets unless it's really necessary (tough opponents).

FYI, you can alternately get Flower Wall with 5M accumulative points and 1.5 multiplier bonus for partner's share song is applied in this event as well.

Got lucky again on my next recharge-only ticket RSF run:



First YUKARI and now this? I feel like my odds have gone way up since last year. Maybe I just haven't been spending enough free tickets last time...

WAH?! I also got Sundrop (Remix ver.) a while ago.



After lunch I tried random and got New-Music Unlock's Sundrop (Remix ver.) with my first 5 player tickets. (attempt #110 or so during this RSF). Couldn't unlock it though, but at least it is still there. My very first RSF-Exclusive song so far. I was so hyper about it. It was really a good surprise.

I don't quite believe it but I just got Into the Cave!
- Just need to unlock the MASTER chart before Tuesday...

I personally try not to get it. If I remember correctly, those who don't have RSF-exclusives still can play them for 5 tickets each difficulty in the case they appear on an event but, according to luis_tatsuya, if you have the song then the game forces you to spend 5, 6 or 7 tickets if difficulties are locked.

In other news, I found this while surfing on the internet: Full version of 電脳少女は歌姫の夢を見るか?, although it has a different singer. it seems totally official, but still... :

WHAT A MAYHEM!! Get a NEW MUSIC ULC!! Nu Era!! 243rd attempt, selecting MASTER difficulty, leaving a total of 1215 tickets expended.

Well I'm happy about getting it because now my partner can get a 1.5x bonus on the song with the highest potential points in the event.

Looks like Capcom decided to make an arcade version after all. It's called "crossbeats REV.", and the location test announcement is here: http://www.capcom.co.jp/arcade/rev/

They're also handing out serial codes to unlock "Reseed (Another Edit)" by quick master, although the fine print says those serial codes will only unlock the song on the arcade version.
