haha, i know. now go try and pass trick oni, last song is max300 x.25 :p

i got to it once, and when i saw the arrows were on the screen from the beginning instead of scrolling into view after a second or two, i walked off the pad. havnt played trick once since.

I did.

MAX 300 is boring when it is slow with 16th steps Annoyed

And if I wanted to see 32nd steps, I would play PARANOiA Hades. Happy

boring? its the same thing, just harder to read. IMO it adds more of a punch when you actually have to think to pass it.

Well I agree with FELMDemon about 300BPM songs having a 'respectable 9-footer chart'. Poseidon is a nice song anyway.

Well I guess it's the speed and the stamina that matters. I think we just can't compare HVAM with MAX 300 since they have different play styles. (doublestep vs stream)
You can compare it. HVAM is pretty laden with stream, as well.

Me and you have different opinions then (obviously). I feel that it is boring. I don't like making my songs to scroll "slower". There is no sense in urgency to move when playing a song that is normally 300 BPM at 150 BPM. Either I play it on normal speed or something a little faster.

If I wanted to think to pass the song, I'll play bag at 1x or analyze the slow section of PHO. Both are fun and are already there Big Grin

Just to entertain you, I will play MAX 300 at 75 BPM to screw up my eyes. Happy

Oni-91: HVAM's streams and MAX 300's streams aren't even in the same league...

no sense of urgency? what are you talking about? its the same step patterns at the same speed, its just displayed differently. you just feel that way because you are more relaxed in your reaction time at 150 as opposed to playing a 300 song with a faster speed mod. i hope you learned that when you tried max300 on x.25.

roach- they are different kinds of streams, but over all i think that max300s straight foreword 150 BPM 16ths are easier than HVAMs double steppy turny 200 BPM 8ths.

No sense of urgency = I don't feel like moving. >_<

I like songs that make it seem like you have to move constantly. I like moving to MAX300 at 300 BPM as opposed to MAX300 at 150 BPM (and I know its the same step patterns at the same speed. Annoyed Thanks for restating the obvious. )

so then thats a mental trick the game is playing on you, not a decrease in difficulty in the song.

and youre welcome :p

HVAM has more, slower streams. MAX 300 has less, faster streams. That's what I'm trying to get at.

I love that song and all, but until we see the authentic S-Expert chart, then I will totally baffled.
And I wonder when we will get banners for Poseidon and Votum stellarum...?

Votum stellarum is predicted to be a time unlock, so soon I hope.

And Poseidon is one of the FINAL unlocks so you're gonna have to wait for that. Unless it magically appears as ENCORE EXTRA STAGE.

Oh, ok, that's fine... Big Grin
And I really wanna check AI, Arcade Infinity, to see if they have SN2 already.
If they do, any requests?

The banner for Posedion looks just like Jupiter, except it has Neptune in the background rather than Jupiter and the text obvisouly reads Poseidon.
It was in the NJ beta video.

Get the version number on the top left of the title screen.
Check whether e-AMUSE is on or off and state exactly what it says at the bottom. (e.g. LOCAL MODE)

This goes for everyone that finds a SuperNOVA2 in the US if everyone could do that please. =]
