I don't get why VANESSA is any good. Some simfile artist could've thrown that together, easy. It feels uninspired and the spins feel contrived. But Anti-Matter is a good chart, and if a chart can willingly make me play Difficult then more power to it. Kind of like UNBELIEVABLE (Sparky remix), but more... how you say... good.

I'm almost certain that you're referring to the end of Vanessa. There are zero spins in that part of the chart, there are only crossovers and 180 degree turns. And it seems that very few people here understand how the latter works properly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely all for liking whatever you want, it sometimes annoys me when people are factually wrong about elements of charts. Sorry if it came off as a personal attack, I've just seen a lot of people refer to 180 turns as spins and it annoys me for some reason. I think they're hella fun once you learn how to do them well

I am. Look at the section around where the combo hits 500. For example, you have LURLUR which, to avoid double-stepping, means that you'd have to step with lrlrlr (using lowercase letters for each foot to avoid confusion). You have Ll, Ur and Rl like a normal crossover, which I'm OK with, but then you have to go Lr, Ul and Rr, creating a 360-degree spin. At 185 BPM. On triplets.
I'll stick with Anti-Matter, thanks.
And don't worry, it didn't come across as a personal attack, it was about the chart anyway

Actually, the section right beforehand sets you up to do it rlrlrl, creating a crossover facing right into a crossover facing left.
