I'm assuming that was from 2ndMIX? Also I thought PPP used Firebeat, not 573.

Unrelated to topic at hand:
The letters most heavily populated in DDR games are generally:
T L and B D S M

2nd Mix was Viper hardware.I'm assuming that was from 2ndMIX? Also I thought PPP used Firebeat, not 573.
1st Mix Plus, 1.1 and we assume DX was all running on Firebeat (although as far as I can tell, it was never confirmed). That image was taken from 1.1 I believe.

It would be neat if someone created a wiki where everyone could post this information because a lot of the stuff in this thread is really interesting. The closest thing I know that's out there right now is Sowspedia.

It's beyond disrepair, completely my fault. Despite, there are some people still making regular edits.

I'm keeping unedited info here as well that I've taken from this forum.
I was gonna get to "re-opening" it to the public, but when most of the missing stuff has been added.
Feel free to contribute!

The artist of Midnight Frankenstein from DDR Ultramix 3 is Stay Gold Pony Boy, which is a reference to the last words of Johnny Cade from S.E. Hinton's famed novel The Outsiders.

If you full combo 321 Stars, the combo will be 321. Did they do that on purpose or was it just a coincidence? (This is only if you play a DDR game where the jumps count as two steps.)

Fairly certain this was intentional.

However, the combo trick for 321STARS doesn't work on DDR EXTREME NA (PS2).

Also like Legend Of Maxx ends in a 573 combo on Extreme USA.
Only on EXTREME JP. Since jumps add one combo in EXTREME USA, it has a 500 max combo.

I'm talking about games that don't count doubles as separate steps, ie. EXTREME NA (PS2).
And, yes. It was on purpose. Konami is usually hiding little references in their songs or song charts.
Case in point, the Konami code on Make A Jam!

.
...and the Konami logo in graffiti as the background, and a pitch-altered Konami jingle at the very end of the song.

Its easier to count the ones that do count them.
DDRMAX (AC and CS and DS counterparts)
DDRMAX2 (AC and CS and DS counterparts)
Extreme (AC and JP CS only)
Party Collection
Xbox - Ultramix 1-4 and Universe 1-2.
