The weather here has been quite shitty as well. I don't mind 90 degree weather when it comes in gradually (ie the temperature starts at 70 degrees and increases as the season goes on), but when it just comes out of completely nowhere after a day of 60 degree weather, it's unbearable. What's even worse is that the temperatures were in the 90's for about 3 or 4 days.

No, but that's because Albany isn't close enough to any of the Great Lakes to have crazy weather like that.

More like everywhere. The temperature has been quite wacky this year and in the past few as well. I can remember one year we had lots of snow with average temperatures, then one year we has average precipitation with colder temperature, and then the next we had neither; it was just warm and didn't snow much. I wouldn't entirely blame it on global warming because some parts of Canada are getting snow >_> It exists, but it could never make a drastic sudden change.
On a somewhat related matter, I find it funny how one person starts talking about whether and a whole discussion starts

Saw the weather report for my area earlier...nothing but high 80s for the next five days. Normal temps are low 70s. Must buy the sunblock.
