The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

Damn Aaron! I won't let that accomplishment get bottom paged ;) Seriously great job! I still fail on the final streams after the speedup on doubles. And how the hell can you play that on your toes!?

Here was my accomplishments from this week. I am getting stuff ready for a convention and I am done with school so the DDR machine is sort of just sitting at the bowling alley at my college until then.

Anyways both of these are from Tuesday. For some reason I can PA extremely well on 5th mix when playing doubles...

I got a few other songs down to SDP but nothing really good to report back on. Also I don't remember if I posted this before but I got Young Forever (Maniac - Doubles) AAA'd on video as well (this was done last week)...


On a side note I have to give my friend his DDR machine back after Acen next week >_< HOWEVER I have already secured my own machine to purchase the week after the convention. It needs some work and replacement of parts but when I saw the machine in person and was told the price... I really could not pass such a great deal up.

Nice 5th mix AAAs, by the way. I always enjoyed 5th mix, and was surprised that I didn't find it that hard to PA on, either (except for the really off-sync things like Butterfly)

Finally I took another try at TRICK, and here's what I came up with.



Damn 5 pts. I certainly hope I got fewer greats at MAX 300. This is my best record and the best on that machine (since no one else wants to play that course or even able to pass it)

@Dr.D: I was looking through your scores on the ZIV score tracker, and a few scores are listed as "Previous Full Combo". What does that mean?

I can appreciate how hard Ice Ice Baby is. I know exactly what part your talking about too. I can officially say I am never playing that song again though

It's not just that part. In general its harder to MA than it should be. But ya, that one part is retarded. Hidden BPM gimmicks anyone?

@Dr. D: I also think there are hidden BPM gimmicks on the song as well. I also got a nice MA on it with 25 perfects.

Video time. It's hard to say what I'm most proud of but I really like the Smooooch and Max 300.






As for max 300, I've gotten it about 5-7 more times since last time, hard to say actually cause I played in a few sets in a rows with the most of them being PFC's.

I'll just call it 6 and say I've PFCed it 47 times so far.

Here's a few other harder stuff I've improved.

Actually this was a tie with my old record and I got it my first time playing it for a long time. Can EASILY improve.

I should sart improving my 18's more.

Alright its been a while since I posted due to finals and having to move the machines to a convention and then back to my house. This first AAA was done at Anime Central which is a convention that takes place in Chaicago at Rosemont. I was one of the guests who was in charge of arcade games and supplied my own arcade games to the room.

I woke up early on Friday to make sure everything would be golden for the convention. To say the least it was...

(This was my 2nd time AAAing this, so it doesn't count)
This was the only song I played and I oddly enough played it perfectly. The machine was definitely good to go!

And then I moved all my arcade games back to my garage and have been working on them the past couple days...


After re-hauling the entire P1 side I finally got it to work like it was brand new, and because of that I got this...


I'd say I did a pretty good job on that pad! I am so happy how well it turned out. I a sure I will have many more AAA's coming this summer now that I have an arcade in my garage lol

Some random scores from the last few days:
This one took forever to AA!!!!!!

Best I've gotten yet, and glad I took a picture because the game wouldn't save the score.



Still trying to FC this no bar, but that slow down always gets me, or I'll get the slowdown and miss some other random arrow along the way.


And this was at the local arcade for high school post-prom. Again, horrible mats!


My sister taped this one of me playing Max 300 at the arcade as well, which is in the 2nd half. Notice that she mentions Zenius in the end of the video. lol
