I wouldn't consider that too simplistic if you ask me. The outlines on the text are features the program I use has yet to desire. Good job by the way Smile

Decided to make a desperate attempt at remaking the cover art for MAX LOVE.

I wish I could do more with it, but GimpSHOP doesn't offer much transparency options and text outline features.
If I had those features, I would add the text featured in the background and fade out some of those white strips.
