Well, it looks like it is snowing again here I love how this town has the strangest weather. I still remember the time it spontaneously started hailing in June one year Good times

Side: Noticing those L4D2 videos above reminds me of how the 360 version is more expensive than the PC version and you have to pay for the DLC. I wish Microsoft would stop being selfish. If it wasn't for that, the L4D2 DLC would be free (and not to mention the TF2 updates being given finally).
I actually really want L4D2. I played it at a friend's house and it was pretty fun.

Today it went from rain to sunshine, to rain again, to sunshine, to rain again, to cloudy, to sunshine, to rain and high winds, all within 20 minutes.

Valve actually wanted the L4D(2) DLC to be free of charge, but Micro$oft wanted a price tag attached to them, hence why the PC guys get the DLC for free, while us X360 players fork over 560MSP for it.

In other news, I bought the Forza Motorsport 3/Halo 3: ODST bundle today...saved $40 over buying them separately. I was surprised that Micro$oft were able to stash the 4 discs properly in one DVD-styled case. If only they thought of it sooner, then Lost Odyssey wouldn't have that 4th disc in an envelope.

A few months back I actually found out that their controllers ARE actually bluetooth, but Microsoft scrambled the signal which would make you have to buy THEIR adapters (which are also expensive) so you couldn't use a cheaper general bluetooth adapter Talk about going out of the way to make people buy your products. There are so many (too many) more examples to show their greed

In another story, my Gold Membership is expiring tomorrow. I'm really only going to miss chatting with friends, N&B online with friends, and TF2. Other than that, I'm not going to miss it. Getting another card is behind getting a nice TV for my room and finally getting around to investing in IIDX. I wish Microsoft could make this more affordable, meaning cheaper. Oh wait

If anyone still has some attention span left and reads this bit, does anyone know what happened to the whole Steam goes to Mac thing? They said April. Maybe they meant April in Valve time. So if Monday means Tuesday, April should be May :V

I had to leave at this point. I could feel brain cells dissolving by the thousands. Not to mention, it was just mind-boggling that they were level 15 or so and set their game for level 50s only, but completely shit themselves when they see a level 50 fight.

It's funny how I am all hyped for this, but I actually don't own a Mac (my sister has one though). Though I am absolutely curious on how efficiently games will run on OpenGL. From my experiences on using it on my older PC with Stepmania, it ran some things much smoother than DirectX in most cases.

So I watched the Mega Man fan movie. For a fan movie, it was good. Of course, as a die hard Mega Man fan, I had issues with certain things, but to look at it as just a fan movie, he should be proud of what he did.

I love it when I drive half an hour to get to work, and then they tell me that they changed the schedule so that I have the day off.

I guess I could use this extra time to accomplish some shit. Maybe scan those Lucky Star cards.
