Also, according to some people, the "kyatorare" in the title refers to Cattle Mutilation, hence the boss being a cow, and also going with the whole space/alien thema.

Also, that yellow event made me hope once again for a next event (Black event?), cause I don't mind Prim as a boss song, but not as Tricoro's final boss song (and lots of players think so as well). Also, the whole plot with Ru/Ra/Ri/Re-pika is still not resolved (and I doubt a single cut-scene can finish it)...so let's call for the Black Ropika as Tricoro's last boss! (with a Mass Mad Izm song pwetty please)

1: This is the worst final boss for a IIDX game ever made. I really hope there is something after this, because if not they really dropped the ball here. I dont mind if we get quirky weird boss songs in games, but the last song should at least sound intimidating somehow, Shrodingers cat pulled it off well, this did not.

Ugh he's got the jester look to him, there goes any hope of an OMES from this. I liked the concept of the Yellow Event but besides VEGA and New Lights, the songs for it sucked IMO.

Yeah, I just liked Casino Fire Kotomi-chan and New Lights from this event... the others were underwhelming of just plain bad songs IMO :/

I agree. I feel like IIDX is starting to lose the idea of adding a variety of sound to this game because quite a few songs sound the same. Even though we have no idea if it will even happen, I also am hoping for another extra, surprise event because YELLOW was a serious let-down.

IIDX has been like this for a while so I don't know what you guys are complaining about. You get the generic feel now and then as well as the unique songs that are worth talking about sometimes. We have been accustomed to multiple releases at once and see things as stale faster than usual without even trying the game sometimes too.

No variety in IIDX? There is tons of new artists in Tricoro though...
Well, I liked Legend Cross and Ω Attack, but yeah, yellow was an over-all letdown, but that's mainly because of the unlock system being a huge pain. The songs themselves are half a miss for me (Kotomi-chan, New Lights and Vega are great + somehow Prim)
There is also the fact that at the same time Bemani Gakuen got awesome songs like Stulti or Gaia which would have been perfect boss song, so Prim felt a bit "lacking"

Would a change in sound directors bring some variety back? Personally, I don't know, but like Aegis said, there's always those few unique songs worth talking about.

Though to be honest, New Lights and Vega were the only songs that really caught my attention with this one. Hopefully there's another event, preferably in the vein of Bemani Gakuen.

Solution: Keep Nokomata as sound director and boot L.E.D., he's the one responsible for the generic sound of the past 3 styles.... and Prim.

In my opinion, they've been pushing the whole happy hardcore thing a bit too much.

Thank goodness they got guys like Dirty Androids to add a bit of flavor and kors k who knows what variety means.

That's basically what I meant. Of course there is always a certain group of songs in each style that are very unique. I just personally feel that, after listening to tricoro's songs again, quite a few songs just seem to sound the same to me, with YELLOW being the prime example. And sure, newer artists have arrived to the IIDX scene...but hardly any of them appeal to me.

And yeah...I would do anything to have SLAKE return to IIDX, whether it be new material or any of his works on FLASH CUBE.

Considering the only song licensed from Flash Cube was already removed (well the data is still there lol) it seems unlikely at the moment.
