Quite possibly the best news for this game.
please give us story mode with rinon or at least something like stellar master

Now hunting for ways to play DDR Wii games without soft mats...

Actually, has anyone tried the PS2/GC adapters which is kind of off topic but the last mention of them was like in a nine month old topic that I don't want to bump...?

Not necessarily. Replicant d-Action may have the same idea, but different songs. I really hope it's different songs, most of the rda songs are too insane for a Wii pad :/.

The next announcement should be an official metal pad and then we're all set, but yeah RDA on soft pads will DIE.

I just hope they put in Shiny World, Pierce The Sky, and Sakura Sunrise (or some of the not-so-hard songs from X2 RDA) in this RDA Wii mode, i do agree that the harder X2 RDA songs on a Wii pad = instant killer for the pad.

Unless Konami plans on creating some form of metal pad exclusively for this game, RDA is going to really kill the pads it comes with XD

Still, to hear this mode being put into an AMERICAN console version of DDR is like hearing the news about 2ndMIX being slightly remade in HD in DDR X3.

The 18s from X2 are a lot easier on a soft mat than they are on a metal pad, especially Possession, which goes from being death itself to being the easiest 18.

edit : I'm talking about a good wii soft pad. I have no clue what the Konami ones are like.

That said, the fact that it uses RDA as an unlock method doesn't necessarily mean it'll unlock the same songs that it did in X2?

It's still unknown what songs will be in this RDA, it could either be ALL of the X2 RDA songs, it could be a mix of X2 RDA songs with some X3 boss songs, or it could be an entirely new RDA featuring the newer X3 BOSS/RDA songs.

I hope this is posted in the correct section..

I noticed some typo..

http://i52.tinypic.com/ezea7c.jpg

But anyway.. I guess the RDA would be a completely new songlist.. I think these X2 RDAs will be just the regular songs..

Possession is already confirmed... Shiny World and Pierce the Sky are too effing awesome to not make it in... which is stupid logic, but it would just make sense to have the original RDA songs all included. Or... something.

As impossible as it is for the standard DDR player to pass on Expert, I hope at least Valkyrie Dimension is included. Any other boss song, new or old, just seems wrong in the spirit of Replicants. D:

Although that would be kinda cool, too.

It is 99.9% unlikely to happen dude, just lose hope for the PS3 version ever getting ANYTHING new coming for it, it's a lost cause of a DDR game :/

I don't know if this was announced already, but:

80 songs, that's really good. As long as they have decent charts, I'm happy.

Well in the preview it says 50 including full tracks so I presume it would be 80 with full tracks included.
