Dumb Question

When DDR "Debuts" at Projekt Revolution, will this count when they come to California? (Irvine Specifically)

What? Tsugaru's clearly a 9, and Saturn's clearly an 8. They're the same now?

It's lower than the 1-10 rating.

You have quite a gamut here, ranging from mid-6 to mid-8, within a single rating? Huh?

I especially don't understand Dragon Blade being a 9 and Saturn a 12.

Lately, your posts have been either asking a question that was recently answered or regurgitating what everyone else has said. If you're looking for an answer, look around a little to see if it's already there. It will spare everyone unnecessary posts. If you can't come up with something to say without sounding too similar to someone from the last few pages, there's no point in posting it.

Eh, I've always found TSUGARU a pretty weak 9, and Saturn is a difficult 8 (if only due to the awkward step placement in the gallops and ending, and the trills in the beginning; it's really lopsided, honestly). I would agree that they are of a similar difficulty.

The, ah, Dragon Blade issue is a little more concerning; I'd put it at 11. It's easy, but there's still a lot of steps. I'd also say GIVE ME UP should be 10, and GOLDEN SKY an 8. But hey, as always, these things may change.

Apparently, when they come to Irvine on August 10th, the games will be displayed there.

Seriously, since they've had a publicly playable demo of it since July 16th (The first day of these concerts), there really should be no reason they can't display it at Comic-Con. Besides laziness, of course.

Was this the Japanese location Test? Because they were both 9s at the first BZN test.

Konami cannot rate songs.

I'm back again, it's really not that fun with having to wait so long, but the game itself is pretty cool. Also, I lost my e-amuse card while I was there.

The Jena Rose songs both sound good. I was dissing Flight of the Phoenix before, but it sounds okay and while the steps are pretty easy, the shock arrows are a bitch. The middle isn't big enough to hold both my feet so I have to stand on one foot to avoid the arrows. I didn't do any calculations but it seems they hurt your score more than anything else.

My Summer Love is a 10.

The Extra Stage Screen is the same.
The Announcer's voice is at least in the same style. He has some funny new phrases. While your scrolling through songs, he'll say something like "What are you doing? We came here to dance!!"

This is pretty subjective but the groove radar looks the same for old songs.

There are no new outfits. The 4 selectable characters are Emi, Afro, Bonnie, and Zero.

I forgot to check for .5 speed. Sorry.

I don't think challenge is just for shock arrows, that's just how it happens to be for Flight of the Phoenix. I mean the old songs with challenge charts don't have shock arrows as far as I know.

Saturn has a few tough spots, but all the easy stuff balances out the difficulty. Tsugaru is gallops, jumps, and crossovers with none of the breaks Saturn has (except possibly the freeze jump).

HEHEHE yeah, but I don't know but I think they might show some DDR at Comic Con...hopefully the 10th Anniversary Spirit will kick in!

I believe they will show it, just for a couple of reasons.

1. Well we usually get our DDR in September, and well its getting pretty close to that date. So they have to finally show something at Comic Con.

2. If they sure did it last year, I'm really sure that they will show it again this year.


Either way, we are bound to get some new information in a few weeks.

And how can they rate My Summer Love as a 10?
Maybe a 11, but a 10 makes it an easy 9, and what throws any new person who plays it off is the 16th run
It's Easy for the Song, Hard for the 16th, so should that make it a medium 9?

My Summer Love is an easy 9 footer song. Compare with other real 9 footer songs like Healing Vision (Angelic mix), Cartoon Heroes that was a stamina drainer 9 footer songs.
