"DINGDONG♥HEARTS"
Model FT2 Miracle Version sounds very low-quality.

I wish the Extra Savior World would consolidate the unlocks. It's very annoying to complete Wave 1, and then be introduced to the following Wave to include the Challenge Charts of the Wave 1 songs.

I think it would be a great idea for the arcade machines to display the top 10 Machine #1 records in the attract mode.

Example:
User1 - 573 Machine #1 records
User2 - 321 Machine #1 records
User3 - 59 Machine #1 records
etc

" ( 0﹏0)"
旅人リラン - 3/7/11/15
SCREW // owo // SCREW - 4/7/13/16
tricky trick - 3/8/12/15
LubedeR - 3/8/12/15

fixer - 5/10/15/18

It might be me, but I feel fixer's beginning part sounds a bit similar to Over The "Period"?

I think fixer as a whole sounds very much like a Tag song after he was involved with the evolved series. I liked those originally but it seemed to make his music all very segmented sounding, and there weren't many songs he did past them that didnt sound disjointed.

Interesting how the "BEMANI Sound Team" label isn't present for "fixer".

Since DJ Yoshitaka took over as president of Konami Arcade Games, the BEMANI Sound Team label has been purged from all future songs, as far as I've been told. Now if they could do that to all the previous songs that got that labeling, that would be nice.

I hadn't noticed that before; just looked it up and he took over in 2025, which is really cool. I still think a nice compromise would be just to add a "BEMANI Sound Team" stamp to song jackets if they wanna keep it that way, but yes, remove them from the artist names and purge them from previous songs. Kinda doubt they'll go that route as they didn't add them to legacy tracks (unless I'm thinking about this wrong).

Either way, either bring back CDTitles for BST or stamp it on the jacket and call it a day, or from what it seems is more popular, just purge it altogether.

If the new pop'n is any indication, the policy seems to be "remove it going forward but don't go back and remove it from old songs, even if they're new crossovers". Kinda wish they would go back and remove them, but they probably can't be assed.

We know Konami is all about maintaining song formatting between releases. Remember LITTLE BOY (BOY ON BOY MIX)?

Just realized it's been a month since we last had new Challenge charts for some legend tracks. Maybe they'll announce some next month?

As expected, Superior MAXX is a new Challenge19, most others in the pack appear to be 16s

So I thought that we might get new 19s whenever BPL happened regularly. It's confirmed anyways
I just wondering when current Heavy 18s got new 19s tho (reincarnation, all of triple tribe songs)

Also, it's such Vajra moment when it topped only few notes at the time (vs Max360 back then)

If I had a nickel for every time a BPL theme song by SOUND HOLIC had an ESP 16 with an unusually high notecount, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

I really miss when PARANOiA Survivor MAX was the big kid song on the block.

Or rather, I miss when the hardest charts in the game felt like something to genuinely aspire to beating, rather than something that makes you go “…okay.” as your eyes glaze over unless you’re iamchris4life.

Beating all the hardest charts in the game now doesn't seem like an attainable goal.
Or fun.

I find 14s and 15s the most fun to play and I'm way more excited when new songs come out with charts around that level.

I’m old and out of practice now so 10-12 or so is kind of my comfort range these days haha, I could probably maybe sorta still pass 15s though. Maybe 10 years ago I could MAYBE pass some easier 17s.

I’ve whined and complained about this many times before but I truly believe that the introduction of the X-Scale in 2008 created a sort of artificial difficulty quota which I think affected the games difficulty distribution negatively, at least in my opinion. By making it (allegedly) a “1-20” scale and setting the ceiling so high, but also even sort of creating a psychological belittlement of easier charts, at least in my mind. Playing a song that’s an “11 out of 20” just subconsciously feels much more lame than playing an “8 out of 10” like in the ancient times, even though they represent the same level of difficulty. If not for this sort of artificial difficulty quota having people in the old days (myself included) clamoring for 19s and 20s, I think demand for more difficult songs would have stopped around the time of Pluto Relinquish in SN2.

Anyway, that’s all what goes through my mind watching Superior MAXXX CSP ha. It has an awesome name at least! The song itself is a tad repetitive and sounds like a machine gun, much like Hou did.
