I'm also hoping for a new PARANOiA or TRIP MACHINE.
I just hope if there's a new PARANOiA, that it's actually fun to play, unlike Hades, which I can barely pass on Difficult.
Not all the PARANOiAs need to be increasingly hard, just good songs, like Clean mix

The SN2 boss songs were notorious for being very jump heavy, and then replacing them with streams. Actually, some people share the sentiment that stepchart quality (as well as rating for new songs) dipped a little in this mix as opposed to SN.
DDR X thankfully made the charts hard without putting 8th/12th jumps, making them less retarded.

Thank you so much, Lord Toon!

I agree that they dont all have to be increasingly hard, but they've always been the hard songs in which mix they were released.

On that note, I wonder if we'll ever get the DDRX CS remakes of Paranoia Max and SP-Trip Machine? I could happily spend the rest of my days without ever playing the latter, but that version of Paranoia Max is easily one of my favorite post-extreme Boss Songs.

He means the SMM-Specials, which I'm pretty certain will never see another appearance. They were a one-off tribute.

A gift for us loyal players. Taking two of the game's legends and adding a little twist to them. But the X-Specials..........do we have to beg??

I think they should add in some of the KO's from the Hottest Party series. Like Candy UFO mix. It was good music and it had good steps. Yes, I know some of them didn't exactly have great steps, but some of the actually did.

I know this will be completely random, but I don't think CRAZY LOVE isn't all that bad after playing it on my computer.

Yeah! Me too! And Silver Dream too. But that's probably because that's my most played song on DDR S when trying to pass it, as I couldn't pass it before. Anyways, they're both not bad. And can someone explain the hate for Trigger?

The bpm fits the music fine in my opinion. Where would you say the bpm is gimmicky? The slower parts are still pretty easy to read (except for the 24th part, but with practice that's fine)

And yes, I'm talking about the Challenge chart. Please do explain.

I could agree on that. I don't really get it why people dislike the Challenge chart so much... I mean, we've seen worse charts out there... NGO Challenge... DEGRS... Valkyrie dimension Challenge... do I even have to mention any others?

I think it's mostly the 8th trills that don't go to much (the ones at the section with the stops) and the ending and similar stuff that makes people hate the chart (not that I'm one of those people).
IIDX Rank: SP 九段 (7/8)/ DP 七段 (5/8); 1P Side player
SP 11* Clears: 132/150 (88.00%); 12* Clears: 23/96 (23.96%)
Has access to CS 9th-EMP+PB+US, uses extended KOCs.

The stepchart or gimmiks "fitting the music" doesn't make either excusable in any way.
