I'm sorry, but I just can't get over the fact that they'd want to reduce PS2 version to 60+

What's the point? Adding the additional 10 songs can be revivals or songs we've never gotten. It's not hard!

SuperNOVA was touted as having over 60 songs once, too. How many did it have? Like 85 or so? ^.^ Besides, odd-numbered years have been rather favorable since then. ~.o

All we can do now is be anxious, and practice-to-death our 6-panel skills.

Well, it's common in the Japanese games for them to actually understate the number of songs. For example, SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA2 were both advertised as having 70+ songs and ended up having more than 80.

Well, still not sure wether I should get the PS2 version or the Wii version...

I don't have a balance board but I can easily get Wii Fit. However, I an not crazy about the interface (I hate that orange), the stages and chibi characters just turn me off and it will only have 50 songs. Unless, they add in DLC. But playing with the wiimote is really a lot of fun.

For PS2, I really like its interface and It will have over 60 songs. However, there's nothing special about this version. However, I can finally have an official pad to play for my DDR games on PS2, rather than using no pad at all..

Which version should I get?

Also note that the audio quality on the PS2 version is 44.1KHz and audio quality on the Wii is only 32KHz, about 28% worse than the PS2.

Those ratings are fucked. Wow, KONAMI, how could you screw this up so badly? I'm going to just assume this isn't indicative of the final difficulty distribution since there's enough problems to work with right now.

Why is Dream On Dreamer a 5? I thought we were over that, there's absolutely no song that should be a 5 at its hardest. Nothing, absolutely nothing on Expert in X is a 6. I'm assuming we're using the X scale for the PS2 version, since that's what it... seems.

Closer is not a 7 on either scale. Possibly the X scale. But why is the rating the same on both games? Was no one paying any attention at all here? Either both games are using different rating systems, or something is extremely wrong. These steps are also really boring.

Disturbia is not a 5 by any stretch; it's an old 7. An X 8? Seriously? Either the difficulty standard has increased a lot, or again, someone was sleeping. How this is supposed to be easier than Closer is beyond me. Steps are average, somewhat interesting, but just seem to do their own thing and ignore the song.

Ice Ice Baby is possibly reasonable. X 9's really did not equate to 6's, but Wii 6's tended to be poorly rated anyway and should have been 7's.

The ratings on the other songs tend to be the same on many difficulties; why? This absolutely should not happen on a scale change. And why is DYNAMITE RAVE suddenly so easy?

I know it's not finalized, but never before has there been an E3 demo when pretty much every rating was just completely wrong. It's like the games were rated by two different people, both of them never having played DDR before. This worries me, along with the overall ease of the selections, but I trust, please, that this is the easier end of the song list. Challenge charts would really help these along.

KONAMI finally gets the songs down, and just when I thought there was no need to be concerned over steps (since X got that overwhelmingly right), they come and do this. Sigh. It just never ends with you, KONAMI. Oh well, chins up, I hope that someone's on top of this issue!
