I think I had a good birthday
Got 90$ and 2 points cards. That and my friend was like "Here have my old Blackberry Pearl" and I was like "Score!"

I'd get FiOS, if it was available in my area. I refuse to get DirecTV or any satellite provider because service goes out when it rains (even with a drizzle), and they charge $10 extra for HD programming (three TVs in my place, one of which is an HDTV). Everyone should switch to FiOS.
It's funny how some major cities have FiOS, but parts of New York City (example: most of Brooklyn) doesn't.
Ugh that suuuucks. I know how you feel. FiOS was available for my next-door neighbors for about a year until we were able to get it. No joke
Hopefully your area gets added to the grid soon. I know that they're working on a lot of areas in North Jersey/Metro NYC area now, maybe you'll be included!

I really think Up or District 9 should've won Best Picture. I've seen The Hurt Locker, and while I thought it was decent I didn't think it was anything great.
I'm happy about Up winning Best Animated though; I was slightly hoping more that Coraline would win but Up winning still makes me extremely happy. :D

I imagine just by beating it on Normal and putting little effort into the miscellaneous achievements, you'll probably get about 350-450 points.
Personally, I thought some of the worst achievements were finding/completing all of the Alfheim portals, which give you assorted challenges that you can beat to win lifebar- and magic bar-increasing items. Some of the Alfheims aren't too bad (kill enemies within a time limit), while some are completely dickish (kill an enemy/enemies using only a certain number of punches/kicks WHILE they're trying to kill you too).
Playing on any difficulty higher than Normal is pretty tough, too.
Overall, it's one of those games where going for all the achievements will piss you off at times, but it never feels like it's impossible.
