What I imagine people think but don't mention:
DDR World's thene is Konami's rendition of Simply Love. Both themes look super "lifeless"

I said this when we first got to see it.

1. Another opinion #1
When I'm looking back at collections of title screens, I noticed before Benmai Sound Team attacks, some of them have some efforts before series reveal. Even for almost simple animations such as Pendual still has such style and efforts rather that recent releases
Starting from Cannon Ballers, I noticed that title screens becoming simpler and less. idk why, but it's becoming much much boring whenever than before. For recent releases, CastHour and Epolis put some efforts on it, but that's only it
I'm at least glad that beatmaniaIIDX franchise becoming more variative for each theme, but somehow it became much more saturated. I suppose since Benmai Sound Team era attacks, it also affects newer release which somehow explains why it becoming much more boring than previous era

I also suppose that not only DDR, but also some of other franchises like IIDX and SDVX becoming less variative and predictable than before
For example:
- Most of level 14 - 16 on DDR having 500-599 notes range, while on level 17 - 18 having 600 - 700 notes range
- Most of IIDX level composition from N/H/A having around 6/9/12 or 7/10/12, it's really rare to have songs with another composition out from usual range like that
- Most of SDVX level composition are also following from NOV to MXM by :
a. 6/12-13/15-16/17-18
b. 7/14/17/19
c. 8/15/18/20
Aren't that patterns nowadays becoming boring and boring ? i also noticing for every SDVX releases, it's always bring similar maximum level, around 17-19. And 20 for special, extra stage or even special unlocks events
And speaking of SDVX..
3. Another opinion #3
First of all, addition of ULT difficulty is really unnecessary. In terms of future development, it causes major headache for the team either for creating new 5th difficulty chart to be added for certain songs. It's somehow working on IIDX with legggendaria charts because somehow original another charts are undercharted, but not to SDVX which for some of the charts are already perfect and hard enough
And also, the second one, newest Valiant Gate event which granting just new XCD charts are seriously big waste. I prefer that they made another daily event to unlock XCD charts (and they even got more money from credits they got from the players), rather than making undoable events for casual players (from what I saw, Valiant Gate event requires basic subscription and only working for Valkyrie model, correct me if I'm missing something).
Seriously, newest Valiant Gate event are such a mess
Another controversial opinions of mine
Level series of Yamato songs are most unhinged and less creative song titles name ever for some reason. And it even had similar structure of their charts
Also, if there's one older song I would really gladly remove from DDR is Stay by Emi. That song is most anticlimactic I ever heard in DDR history
