Sounds like he's trying to improve the quality of the song without changing it. Sounds to me like we're going to get an authentic 2ndMIX experience baked into X3. Experience, not game wholesale.

If he's allowed to tweak stuff then it reinforces that the materials are being moved into the current game engine, and they're not going to run the original 2ndMIX code within X3.

Remastered version of BRILLIANT 2U (Orchestra Groove) please.
And someone please remix think ya better D (Yes, Sota, I'm looking at you. And one more thing, you should do it in your SySF hard dance style (like Drop the Bomb remix) if you want me to be happy.).

If i'm correct on my DDR knowledge, Have you never been mellow was in 2nd. Mix (if it wasn't, i apologize for my stupidity) When was the last time we saw that?? I say we bring it back!!

HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN MELLOW came from 1st, however without much evidence to support this it seems reasonable that songs from the first DDR game are being rolled into 2ndMIX for this revival.

Last time that song was seen was 4thMIX PLUS. It's iffy remix lasted until 5thMIX.

True. I liked the MM Groovin' Mix It would seem that maybe they'll have an ace in the hole, that shocker that none of us would see coming. But that would be unlikely, given that most (at least the ones i know) Prefer they bring back the hits instead of the hidden gems. I hope in this case, the voice of the many does not drown out those of us who want some of the lesser known songs revived I have optimism for this. Can't wait until december!!!!!!!!

If (and that is IF) they decide to put 1st. Mix licenses in, maybe My Fire has a chance!!!!!!!! But, who knows?? We'll just have to see if we get any details. Konami has been suspiciously quiet this time around. Makes me wonder just what exactly they have up their sleeves this time.......

The only thing I find funny about this is that we had two 2ndMIX remixes that came out in X2 that were almost like preview songs for X3 vs. 2ndMIX.

In my opinion, we shouldn't doubt or assume anything. We have a long journey ahead of us as far as X3 is concerned. Right now, we can only guess and speculate at the moment. To just take songs out and put songs in at this moment wouldn't be fair or right. I'm sure we all have our wishlists and whatnot (i know i do), but it's just a matter of wait-and-see. I'm confident there will be something in this new DDR that each of us will enjoy

JAKAZiD did a song recently that uses elements of Put Your Faith In Me, so surely they'd just ask him if they can use that, rather than starting a new one from scratch.


People need to stop making stuff up. We don't know anything about this game, and have absolutely no idea what the "vs 2nd Mix" title is about.

I just thought on DDR X3 use a similar mode like Remember 1st? Mode on EZ2DJ so that we can play 2nd MiX in its orginal x1 gameplay.

"vs. 2nd. Mix" Could mean something else, but, as sharibetsu pointed out earlier, in X2, we did have If You Were Here (LED-G Style Mix) and they brought back Hero (although it's the cut from the X-Edit, so it might not count). They might just be teasing us, but aren't there enough signs that say it's a nostalgia-thon??
