I'm doing a Nuzlocke run on my Pokemon Y copy and I enter the Santalune Forest.
The first pokemon I encounter is a Caterpie. The rest of the pokemon that I run into? Fletchling, Pansear, Panpour, Pansage. I did not run into a single caterpie since the one I caught, per the rules. Fuck this game.

I didn't expect the wild Flabébé to be as fast as my Sin Cake as I went first two times in a row. Oh well.

Base speed stat on Pancham is 43. Base speed stat on Flabébé is 42. Doesn't obviously take IVs/EVs and nature into account but you should be rather close on that speed stat at lower levels. You probably ended up winning the speed tie a couple times.

I just earned my second badge. I am glad I spent a week grinding before the second gym on leveling up my team and increasing Affection in Pokemon-Amie. My pokemon survived attacks that would have otherwise killed them.
