My hope is for some older licenses. Kinda tired of just new(er) stuff being added when there's a lot of stuff from the 90s and 2000s that would be amazing to have in there.

My hope is for literally anything besides Porter Robinson.

This would be nice, but I think it's highly unlikely after all these years. However, I do remember being one of the only ones back in the day who said that it wasn't impossible to have Dancemania songs licensed for a US home release, or some songs we'd never get. Lo and behold, we got some heavy hitters like RHYTHM AND POLICE(K.O.G G3 Mix), DAM DARIRAM, and CAPTAIN JACK (GRANDALE REMIX). It did feel like they were more prone to be on the XBox DDRs though. But still with us getting those, I always felt that Konami had the rights and "freedom" to bring over whatever arcade Dancemania tracks they wanted, but of course only gave us cherry picked ones to go along with new licenses for home versions. Even when it was obvious they were moving away, or weening off of Dancemania songs around DDRX/X2's release, they still revived a few occasionally, even the "covers" like those in DDRA20; so it wasn't many...

This being said, I still sometimes wonder if they retain and/or have access to these licenses or other non-DDR Dancemania songs for new DDR games, despite Dancemania being long gone. I know it's a long shot, but with how Konami has been putting a lil life back in some legacy songs by adding steps, it would be nice if they brought back the original songs with charts to breathe a lil life back into them. And just like before, when the license expires, they just remove the songs. Long shot? Absolutely, but would be interesting.
While they're at it, I truly wish good-cool would work a deal to have his songs revived, or other popular IIDX tracks brought over to DDR as well. Still a mystery what went down that all his songs stayed in IIDX, but were poofed out of DDR specifically for the past 20 yrs.

Konami was able to license a lot of the older stuff for the DDR Mini. They're definitely able to get at least some of them if they want them. I might have to go get the paperwork for that thing out of the box later to see if it credits a record label for them. I'm assuming Universal since to my knowledge they are where Toshiba Emi ended up but I'm not 100% sure.

Hopefully AFRONOVA's chart won't be a mess. It's cool that Unreal also will get a Challenge chart, I didn't notice it was the only boss song from SuperNOVA 2 that didn't have one

Also I find pretty weird how they Daisuke isn't part of the BEMANI pack, they added it pretty recently to pop'n and Polaris Chord, so it seemed like a good chance to add it to DDR too

Is it just me or there are two stimultabeous popn songs here with Harmonia and Quon ? No IIDX and even gitadora this time? I even forgot some of these songs existed

Also, what would Touch My Body categorized? Museca or more into SDVX addition?

With these packs, I'm sure one or two of them would be 17/18 like before. Not pretty sure which candidate is. Probably maybe Quon or that beatmario one

Also, with new challenge charts and with their histories, Red Zone, Unreal or Rainbow Rainbow will get at least 16 rating on

Ha! As usual, there's at least one song in the new charts that is of concern, and in this one, it's definitely gonna be AFRONOVA. Some of y'all must have strongly willed this into existence. LOL The reason I say that, is that it always seemed people considered its current charts perfect and no need for anything extra. Honestly, I would have preferred them give to AFRONOVA PRIMEVAL, since that one is more deserving.

As for the rest, the next I'm surprised about is Unreal. The jumps for its charts already was a pain, so I'm wondering what the heck they plan on doing for it. So for now, AFRONOVA and Unreal are the 2 that give me pause.
The rest are decent choices, and though it's 20 yrs late, RED ZONE hopefully gets a chart that somewhat redeems it.

For Unreal, I'm expecting they pull some complete nonsense, but what I would prefer instead is to make the another 15 with 16th bursts instead of jumps, in the same way that TRIP MACHINE PhoeniX has two 15s, one loaded with jumps and one loaded with 16ths.

I took Dancebelt's BINGO card and smacked different jackets onto it.

......wow, I swear I don't consider myself clairvoyant (much), but I searched earlier in the DDR World thread and realized I actually put this idea out there about creating charts for old favorites, thinking it would be a cool idea for the new game. Lo and behold, that's what they've been doing the past 6 months or so. Kinda makes me wonder if Konami folk are lurking around here...hmmmm.

The Bingo card thing is a fun idea, may draft one up myself but without the step rating as I know I'd be horrible at guessing what ratings they'd come up with.
I do still think it would be a good idea to revise some older to beef them up after all these years, like KAKUMEI. If they did something like that and replaced older charts with updated ones, y'all think that would be a welcomed thing?

Probably not. I think only KAKUMEI and Sakura need it. I'd rather they not outright delete classic charts.
