Pretty sure I'm not going to beat Mass Effect 2 this weekend.
In the first game, enemies just had more life on Insanity difficulty. In ME2, Insanity is apparently now Asshole difficulty, because every fucking enemy has armor, kinetic shields, biotic barriers, or any retarded combination of them. Guns practically become useless since I spend all my time spamming all of my armor-killing abilities, and because of that, I have to trade out my favorite character for buck-toothed ho-bag Miranda, because as much as I love Tali, she has practically NOTHING to kill barriers. That would be bad enough, but damn near every enemy in the game knows it has a crapload of protection, so they all bullrush the crap out of me. The resulting game overs then stretch a mission that should take about half an hour to AT LEAST an hour apiece, so my progress has pretty much been slowed to a crawl. I've only got five of the eight recruitable characters, and NONE of the loyalty missions done so far. SLOW PROGRESS.
Also, enemies get retarded upgrades. I got headbutted by a robotic dog and caught fire. What the hell?
