It's official, iTunes is the absolute worst program I have ever used.
Ask me or silent about Internet Security 2010.

On an unrelated matter, I am just about sick and tired of my Xbox 360. It's about as screwed up as the music video for "Lucy in the sky with diamonds". The console takes sometimes 5 minutes JUST to get to the dashboard. That and it's super stubborn when it comes to reading a game disc. It took me 45 freaking minutes to get a game to read. To top it all off the only games it will let me play is Orange Box and Halo 3. Every other disc game I have won't read properly. Fortunately I have a extended warranty at a store, but I am too lazy/don't care. I need to get this done sometime though >_>
Funny, I have no problems with my 360, even with a crack near the power supply.Post #8604 · Posted at 2010-02-08 05:12:39am 15.6 years ago

It wasn't Norton's crap. Internet Security 2010 is malware that installs itself to your computer, bombards you with false virus warnings, and keeps telling you to pay for the full "program" to get rid of the ever-so-dangerous-and-abundant viruses. Does extra shit to try to convince you that you have a virus like closing different programs (killed my WinAmp) and locking you out of Task Manager.

It also disables any anti-virus program and stuff that you may have installed, along with messing around with the registry files, making it impossible to do a system recovery from a checkpoint.

I remember getting something like that on a shitty eMachines computer a few years ago. The only thing that fixed it was completely wiping the hard drive and installing a brand new copy of Windows.

I downloaded Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Killed that malware problem quick.

As much as I love playing video games online, I hate it when people disconnect because they're about to lose. Last night, I was playing Guitar Hero World Tour, and the douchebag decided to disconnect in the second song of a 1v1 Pro Faceoff. Twice. In both cases, I won the first song and was about to win the second.

It's even more fun when disconnects don't count as losses for the quitter. For as long as I can remember, I've suspected the top ranked guy in Soul Calibur IV of disconnecting.
Thousands upon thousands of wins and only nine losses? I call horseshit.
...Oh hey, the Saints won the Super Bowl.

Haha my friend is gonna be pissed.
Or.. slightly disappointed.
Anyways, had a major nostalgia trip a little bit ago. For some reason (boredom, school cancellation tomorrow, planetary alignment) I'm getting back into RuneScape. Although I don't remember my password for shit and had to start a new character, it's kind of cool remembering how everything plays (Even though I got an Interface Screw since it's been updated about 10,000 times since I played it last).
They finally made a quick path from Lumbridge to Varrock! THAT'S EXCITING (in my world).
Oh, and since DJ OMiY was TAKEN, I settled for Togo Chef as my in-game name.

Is it just me or L4D2 servers suck really bad for the 360? One moment I can play & it works perfectly, then the next it's really bad & I can join a game for 2 minutes & it dies. When I play other online games its always fine, but its just L4D2

My bro gets annoyed with this in FIFA. The only way you can win a game in FIFA is to win 1-0 by scoring in the 91st minute. ANYTHING else will cause the arse on the other side of the line to disconnect and claim victory as the match never actually finished.Post #8614 · Posted at 2010-02-08 09:03:33pm 15.6 years ago

If on the Xbox, you can use the player feedback thing to leave them negative feedback for being a poor sport. You will also never encounter that person again on Xbox LIVE as a result.

Now, what's really weird is I did absolutely nothing to damage the system. Then it just decides to start dieing. This also happened to my friend actually. Different problem, but he also did nothing wrong and it just decided to die.
Side, but somewhat related: Now that my friend replaced his Xbox, he has a broken one laying around, so me and him are planning to test gravity with it being the test object. When I mean "test gravity", let's just say 9th story

I need to do that with my broken one. Can a 2006 World Cup Edition XBox 360 survive being thrown from the top floor of the Derby Westfield car park?

I managed to catch something similar a couple months ago...I had a chance to write down the file name of the program, found it buried in my Application Data and managed to just delete it in Safe Mode without a wipe or anything. It was pretty painful though. I couldn't open anything
