Here's the default song list.

Things I've noticed:
• Licenses are no longer listed at the front of each folder
• The order of songs is the same as 2014 (Japanese, then Roman, then Numbers)
• Several songs from 2014 seem to be missing: the Nettou Bemani Stadium songs (IX, Vega, etc.) the Discover Bemani Ruins songs (Cleopatrism, Follow Tomorrow, etc.), the Floor Infection songs (second spring storm, Strobe Girl, etc.), the Kaito BisCo songs (BeBeatstream, Dopamine, etc.), the Bemani Summer Diary songs (In the Breeze, Natsuiro Diary, etc), Idola, Electronic or Treat, Possession (EDP Live), Ayakashi kakushi, Under the Blue Sky, and Poochie (the last two are in the DDR A folder now). From what I've read earlier in the forum, They apparently forgot to add these songs and that they had to be re-added (this is mainly confirmed for the Discover Bemani Ruins songs as well as Under the Blue Sky and Poochie, I don't know about other songs). The reason behind this seems to be that these were still part of the Extra Attack system (with the exception of the Floor Infection songs) and that they somehow didn't get carried over.

Anything anyone would like to add on?

I compared with 2014's one, size is almost same. maybe just font problem?

Can you still choose between whether or not the combo numbers are in front or behind the arrows?

After playing a bit of catch-up and watching all of the newest developments I am personally pretty pleased with the bulk of the changes. Particularly the interface. The song select will take some getting used to, but I don't necessarily dislike it. My immediate thought upon seeing was Sound Voltex, and it's cool to know that I wasn't alone in my thinking, lol. I am excited about the bulk of the songlist (especially Yeah Yeah and Dadadadadadadadadada). Of course, the announcers still being the same is a bummer, but honestly, for me, seeing DDR get this brand new mix alone kinda makes me happy, so I'll roll with that punch I guess. And knowing that there will soon be DDR A cabs somewhere in the US makes me all the happier. Overall I'm hyped. Can't wait to see what more is to come.

I have to say, as a beginner-ish DDR player, the change in grading really helps.
It's so much easier to unlock extra stage right now. I'm very pleased with that.

So what's the deal? AA- gives you extra stage? Or AA?

Pros:

the announcer
Some of the characters didn't recive new outfits
no new BG stages
no cut ins
some dance moves introduced in X2 are removed. The characters only do the routines from SN/XBOX games.

I think AA- (890K+) also gives you extra stage (as in giving you the 2nd star, the 3rd one isn't too hard to get either).

Yep, still needs 9 stars to unlock extra stage.

I'm pretty pleased.

- Clear lamps on the folders, finally! I wanted that in 2014.
- TWO songs with Nana Takahashi in them!!
- I'm pleasantly surprised how fast the mode transitions between song select -> game -> results are.
- Songlist at the moment is literally "EDM, Touhou, Bemani" but they picked really good ones.
- This game is actually being released in the USA!

I'll get over the announcer, I guess. I just realized that the "new" quips are actually from the home version.
"Too many combos to count!" - between 100 and 200 combos
"Training Mode might be the place for you, homie." - said to Dr D after he failed the extra stage (harsh)

I also recognize the "Stage clear!" from DDR S+.

I'm happy that the only songs removed so far were added back, simply due to an error! I have to say, I like DDR A's new songs a lot, and it's nice that the background dancers' speed is now influenced by the speed of the song for the first time in a while.

And is it just me, or does Yeah! Yeah! sound a lot like the Zodiac Fall song?

And it sounds completely off from the rest of the announcer.

The announcer seriously doesn't fit this.
Either a robotish announcer (that doesn't make his lines span over like 500 seconds like this one)
Or no Announcer.
Personally i still prefer the DDR X2 UI.

Stook out with DR.D for the stream since like 5AM it was a harsh wait, Didn't get to see the update happen.
But i was there.

Also, YouTuber ZEROWOLF has high quality versions of some songs.

That's a 180 combo compared with a 280. It looks like the combo font gets bigger over time, I THINK it maxes out at 300.

If you look at one of the videos just above this, there's a YouTube vid with the combo counter in the 200s, and it looks really big. I usually don't mind it, but here you don't get a lot of space at all.

Holy fuck are we back in like DDR 3rd mix or something.
The announcer cant count higher than 50. And he keeps saying it..
Its like the new cut in. They can just make him Say 50 Combos.. 100 Combos.. 150 Combos.. That would be better
than complaining about how many combo's he cant count but then count anyways.

I'm also honestly surprised that DADADADADADADADADADA didn't feature its BeatStream video in this game.
