In The Zone 3 was AMAZING!

In The Zone is like a big Hip-Hop dance convention in Winnipeg. I comes once a year around April.They get amazing choreographers, dance crews, b-boys and freestylers. It's amazing.

I was a VIP because I won some contest. The VIP access let me go to every event free, rather than spending $100 or something. I wouldn't have been able to go otherwise. I'm so glad I did. This was the best dance experience of my life. Now, I have such a bigger respect for Hip-Hop dancing than before. No, not that sexual Hip-Hop. In The Zone (The Hip-Hop workshops anyways) was supposed to be for Intermediate and Advanced Hip-Hop dancers only, but I was a beginner, and got in! I did very unexpectedly well, because people believed I was an Intermediate dancer, until I screwed up with one of the choreographers choreography, April Rodriguez'. There were a total of 4 choreographers, April Rodriguez (as I said), Jun Quemado (HE WAS AMAZING!), and two other guys who I unfortunately forget the names of, but they were the winners of the dance crews (large group and small group).

This was so much fun, and I hope my friends are jealous tomorrow when I get to school!... DAMMIT! SCHOOL!

That sounds like tons of fun. I took a class like that 4 years ago when I was 13 in the summer (for freestyling when the A-Team was all that) . Did the convention look like something out of "You Got Served" / "Step UP"? They had something like that in Denver a few weeks ago, and my sister's ballet friend (Travis) said the jazz/hip hop classes were amazing. This guy is going to be on "So you think you can dance!" so he is pretty good. (I am rambling about shit now.)

...yet, i still remember the day when our whole school got lockdown during my lunch period due to a HUGE fight between the students AND their parents AND weapons were involved...

P.S. remember me telling you guys about the military ball i attended two days ago (It's monday here, 12:40am)? Well if you guys check up my facebook, you will see some of my pictures from the ball...

LOL and you know what's funny?

Five days ago BEFORE the ball, she told me that she was going alone to the ball, then she asked me if i was going alone, i said "yes". She DID NOT (and i did not) ask to see if she could come as my date (because i am a senior and i needed someone to walk through the sword arch and stuff)...

...then a day later, one of my best friend's friend was unsuspectingly going to the ball (she thought it was going to be like a party...boy was she wrong) and since i knew that she was a senior and we knew each other, i asked her and she said "sure"...

...yea i made a mistake/stupid decision by telling Miya that i was going alone (but i informed her that on Friday, if i did not have anyone to take by then, then she would be my pick)...

...Nonetheless, we danced (taught her how to dance salsa and stuff XD)

I'm not going to say she is my type, but she doesn't go for Hispanics *aawwww* but oh well, we had fun =D
