There's quite a lot I can speculate from this "average" song, after listening to #OurMemories a couple of times.

1. It either could be Tag (again) or definitely U1, or another collaboration from both, but I doubt it because of the lack of BEMANI Sound Team in the artist tag, or that was their plan all along: to conceal the BST tag while still being in-house artists.

2. If it is neither of them (including the rest of the in-house artists), then this person is clearly inspired by U1. I could hear a lot of SUPER SUMMER SALE almost the entire song, with the vocal soundbites over U1-inspired synths.

3. This is a long stretch, but I don't know why the song sounds like it could be the theme/system music for the next DDR game. It's giving me vibes to when DDR A was announced at KAC in 2016.

4. Another long stretch, but I have a feeling that this could also be foreshadowing the complete lack of announcer during gameplay in the next game as well. I remember in DDR 2014/15/16, when Dark Rinon was selected, she did not have cut-ins, and come DDR A, all the other characters' cut-ins were completely removed, so I'm guessing the same feature I described could happen from this particular track. I'm guessing this the first time that no announcer/crowd soundbites ever occurred during a song?

Again, there are just speculations, and I know how far-fetched some of these could be, but anyone can wonder.

so people here went on for weeks about how much they wanted this song, saying that people should go like/RT the twitter messages and send tweets about our favourite DDR memories, waited months for the song to come out, apparently forgot about it, and now that it's out, people don't like it.

this is what you wanted, don't complain, just enjoy the fact that they would even make a song like this. They didn't have to do this.

I would've said "I remember waking up my sister when I got my very first AA." I thought this campaign was for Japanese speakers only, considering that the Twitter is in Japanese.

PS, that really happened. I think it was either GHOSTS (VINCENT DE MOOR REMIX) or Heaven on DDRMAX2. It was on Beginner because it was back when I first started playing DDR. So this was some time in 2003, when I was 6.

Definitely sounds like U1 to me, but lacks the BST tag so... I'm not sure. If they felt the need to throw BST onto MAX 360's artist, not sure why they'd make an exception here. Anyway, it's a fun little song, I like it. Not particularly memorable, but I still enjoyed listening to it.

Some silly Butterfly cover is nothing compared to the leagues of fan service we've been getting these past few weeks (and likely for more weeks to come). The fact that we not only got a song dedicated to the fans using the fans' own words, a damn good remix of one of the most well known songs in DDR ever (MAX 300, sorry CHAOS enthusiasts), and the absolute unit of a love letter to the series known as the DDR SELECTION... I don't really see how you could not be loving this. I'm loving this, and I'm a cynical bastard. For once, Konami is not pissing the fans off with misguidance.

Just seeing this event play out really makes me wish I lived closer than 250 miles away from a DDR A machine. I really thought Dave and Busters would be having a 'second wave' of machine arrivals, but evidently not. Guess there's always simfiles. *shrug*
