Also, the 16ths you placed… let's just say it took me multiple hearings to get what you tried to follow. Once I understood it, the chart seems much more enjoyable.

I thought this video was like stop motion or something because its FPS is kinda low. I dunno if you knew this already, but around 2 months ago this video was updated (see here), so the video there is much smoother. Also, the custom ZIP has 2 videos: AVI and WMV. Might want to delete the WMV one.

A tiny tip (and I hope I don't sound overly tight here): assuming that the BPM is spot-on, half a beat here is 0.18764… seconds. You did every stop as 0.188 seconds, so for every stop, you're drifting the chart by 0.36ms. It's tiny, but you have 21 stops, which drifts your chart by… 7.5ms. (To be honest, I wouldn't feel that much of a difference either, but there are probably some that could.) Adjust some of the stops to be .187s to balance out the drift.

The actual video switches between the two aspect ratios. I noticed that while I was editing it and found it to be interesting as well lol.
As for the specifying the banner as the background. . . that was an oops lol. Didn't notice it until after submissions were over and I didn't find it to be that big a deal. I've fixed it on my end but I didn't upload it. I'm thankful that you [and others] didn't think it was a big deal either
I'm gotta say, actually surprised at the amount of votes Kiss My Lips received, considering I didn't really think that it was going to get a whole lot when compared to all the other awesome and more challenging files this week. Thanks everyone.

- 4 | - 7 | - 9OK, now that I've got graphics in place I can finally talk about this file.
This week didn't seem too hard at first. The way I looked at it, I thought I just had to find a song with some sort of string instrument, so it seemed like no big deal. I looked through my WIP folders and found a few songs that maybe could have fit the theme, but personally it felt like the chordophones in those cases weren't strong enough, and I wanted to submit a song with very prominent strings. I looked all week and had no luck. That is until yesterday morning about 24 hours before the deadline. I was re-listening to れをる and ギガP's album 'No Title -' (which is one of my favorite albums of all time tbh) and remembered that this re-arrangement of ギガンティックO.T.N was on the album. I had finally found a song that fit my standards. The only problem then was finding the time to get the file done, and I was busy almost all day yesterday. I found a few hours to work on
last night and hoped to get the rest done in the morning after 6AM cross country practice. Unfortunately for me, I overslept. And by a lot. I woke up an hour before the deadline and freaked out. I ran to my computer and got to stepping and . took me a good 40 minutes, and then once I got to stepping I felt rushed so I started editing at 1.3x speed for recording steps and previewing sections. All was well, though, for I was able to get the .ssc and .sm submitted with 2 minutes to spare.Story time over. As stressful as it was, I had a lot of fun with this one, and I hope y'all enjoy too.
(protip: look up the translation for the song it's hilarious and inappropriate >:-])

it really depends on the context. for Renai Circulation is alright, i think. rule of thumb would be if it doesn't feel right to submit it, just avoid doing so.

How about things that are proper nouns (i.e. a name or a location) regarding an area that does not speak English as a primary language? i.e. a song called Tokyo or something.

Fox [DDRDAIKENKAI]: This was fun and the song was great. I honestly really enjoy when your charts a bit on the lighter side like this and 6Rainbow.
ギガンティックO.T.N (Gigantic O.T.N) [ddrstepper]: You clever little shit, the patterning during the voice glitches and the extended crossovers were great and you were amazing with the patterning throughout the song.
Peragro [mf32892]: Ok I honestly have a really big problem with this one and just one simple phrase could sum it all up, less is more. Tone it down a bit with the 12th's, the song had many opportunities where you could've used some 8th's instead. It just came off as a bit messy with all of the 12th's and uncreative as you could've done much more by toning it down and having some variety with the rhythms.

I should have possibly two songs coming this week. One is another song from REFLEC BEAT groovin' (I seem to be doing a lot of those), and the other is an ambitious take on an old classic...

So, I have a playlist that has all of my BEMANI songs in it. This was literally the first song in the list (alphabetically) with a Japanese title. 猫叉Master is fantastic, and this song is no exception. It reminds me a bit of バビロニア, which ironically enough was my entry for "Moon Runes" week back in 2013. It's in a swung rhythm, so there are plenty of 12ths all over the place. The Expert chart in particular follows the melody most of the time.
My second song is done, but I have to do some things to make it playable for everyone. That might give you a hint...?
