Capcom doesn't need to make an arcade version of this game because the model is already almost pay-to-play.

personally, i'd rather have the pay-to-play model in the arcade, but that could be just me. makes it easier to justify paying like that

Roughly 3 hours till section ends, how is everyone looking for the first section at the moment?

I've farmed 1 million points already, I just need to make sure that the other guy doesn't catch up by 3am here >.>

1.611.xxx points here so far. My last place was 94th but since I've just played another round a few minutes ago, I expect to be around 75th on the next update. My rival has been inactive so that's not a thing to worry about. If everything goes smoothly I will have another chance just before event ends, then I will unlock headbanger in order to farm/wins against my next rival on section 2.

I've stopped trying to do Headbanger - I get higher scores on エアリアル

About 4 hours until section 2 ends, and just one more section to compete the event.

Personally, I feel a bit anxious since my rivals so far have been inactive users/accounts. I have the feeling I'll face against a skillful opponent next.

I'll do my best with Otherside as my song, since Dazzling Season's Master chart seems almost impossible for me to get.

What about other users here?

My rival has been surprisingly absent for most of this section, even though originally I was worried because they had RP in the 2000s. I seem to be in the clear to win my first section these next few hours.

Finally an active rival (nooooooo~....)

19xx RP, but I think he only uses normal tickets since he only has 205.xxx until now. I will try to win this one to get 3 victories and the song fully unlocked (and it will be shared of course).

I've gotten ridiculously lucky this time around. Section 1, my opponent posted a score of 62K which I beat just by playing Garnet Howl trying to FC it. Section 2, my opponent didn't play at all. And now for Section 3 my opponent has yet to play.

Countdown Campaign for CROSS×BEATS's first anniversary announced, from 11/11 to 12/10.
Completing the special missions will award the KANATA II theme skin and the COMIC game skin.

Wow...there needs to be much better rewards for cxb 1st anniversary. Like easy chances to get missed songs or customize options.

Most-Difficult-Section-Ever! My rival pressured me almost every minute and it was a really close battle, but I think I got the best score in the last 10 minutes. Now let's hope Kanata-Goddess gives me that 3rd victory.

I was wondering about something I saw in CROSSxBEATS site related to the Countdown event: in the TIPS section the first one states:

※「1ミッション＝1曲」でないものもあります。

Could this mean every mission will apply the rule "1 mission = 1 song"? My japanese isn't quite good. >_<

Well, this is CAPCOM we're talking about. They aren't really known for making things more accessible to more unfortunate or newer players.

My Japanese understanding is really basic but I think the hint "※「1ミッション＝1曲」でないものもあります。" actually translates to "There are also some missions that aren't 1 Mission = 1 Song". I would assume this means you'd have to play more than one song, like several if not most of the missions in past events, but that that hint would be given just now is kind of misleading. Guess we'll just have to find out in a few days.

A few weeks ago I was talking with another CxB player about CxB's 1st anniversary and I just imagined a special spt exchange event containing RSF-songs only. Then I laughed and thought to myself the same words; "It's Capcom".
