Escape was also on the iPhone game, so I assume it might fall under a more comprehensive licensing deal than some of the other Konami Original songs? The other iPhone DLC songs might therefore be a little more likely to show up than the rest of the old HP songs.

We know from a certain podcast that some songs from the DDR X2 / Hottest Party 4 were signed over to Konami completely, without any sort of royalties involved, so I think those latter songs are also more likely to show up as filler in the AC game.

No Crime was a Shanadoo (David Brandes) song. The version in Hottest Party 2 is sung by the original band, while the version in sebsequent Bemani games is a cover.

La Bamba is weird because it's a Public Domain song, meaning nobody can own the rights to the music or the lyrics, but anybody that records it does own the rights to the recording. Konami own the recording rights to the one from SuperNOVA, and list it as a Konami Original, but list the that debuted in DDR Extreme (as a crossover from Mambo A Go Go) as a license. Both of the songs are still in DDR 14.

Brandes had nothing to do with NO CRIME. It was composed by NAOKI, possibly arranged by Cyril, I don't recall, Cyril did much of the arrangement of NAOKI songs at that time. The English version was used for the Crossfire visual comic (I think?), but that was also by NAOKI.

The licensing isn't as cut and dry as "yellow" versus "white," it's fairly complex. Bottom line is, we really don't know what the licensing agreement between SHANADOO and KONAMI is, but we do know the people behind the song's composition, arrangement, and vocals.
