I was worried? No, but do please tell me where in a 100% technical chart you saw a double step.

Week 9:

+5 Disco the ground:
Perfect video sync, this sim felt very polished and well structured. Overall this sim is perfect.

+4 TOTSUKAKU ZENKAITEN!:
This was lots of fun, it gets a bit hairy towards the end but it ends well and really can't compain. The music reminds of that song from PeeWee Herman's Big Adventure.

+3 yellow head joe:
This would have been a +5 had it not gone horribly off-sync part ways through. I don't think it was the sync itself I think that the strange way the song is timed made the Freezes on fall way off mark. Otherwise, top notch charts and great music selection as always.

+2 BANGARANG (feat. Sirah):
Good cut, steady patterns that worked well with the music, felt a little off-sync though.

+1 DARE:
Interesting audio start, the cut at the end felt jarring but it is well synced regardless. A lot of places that I really wanted to see more arrows than there are.

Honors Love me / Kill me:
I like the first half of the song better than the second half. When the pace changed the arrows stayed exactly the same and no longer fit well with the music. The Challenge chart is a bit better at this though. Good sync and good graphics, not crazy about the song itself all that much.

Riders on the Storm (Infected Mushroom Remix):
The beginning and end of the sim is totally uncalled for. I wanted to like this a lot, I'm a huge Doors fan and this is a really good remix. If only the whole song could be as fun as the middle.

Paradise Lost:
The 16th notes in the streams felt way out of place. The song is great but the patterns are far to complicated to enjoy it. If anything should be a chart.

DRONE:
I think I know where the song title came from. Unfortunately this sim exemplifies exactly how not to make a simfile. Worst song choice, long fade out, far to slow for that kind of step frequency. At least the chart which is solid if terribly repeatitive. The artwork is nice too.

The break was just frustratingly delayed.
I was like "yo man, everyone's got so much work to do so we should take a break now" and then that one guy was all
"OH HERPADERP LET'S WAIT TWO WEEKS UNTIL EVERYONE'S DONE WITH ALL THEIR WORK IN ORDER TO START THE BREAK"
and as a result people ended up not doing it properly because everyone was legit busy at the time, and now no one knows what's going on

Jump and Bubbly Time are week 10 songs. I'd change it but then all of the files will go away, so people who uploaded the songs need to change it.

Anyway I like BNMs idea of ending it with voting of week 10 files. Would anyone objection to this idea?

But that's mainly because I was the team leader for Team 9 Year Old Japanese Girls (GOD I hate that name. so long and cumbersome.), lost Week 9, and then Aeron rejoined and everything got befuddled and clusterfucky so I really didn't know if you actually picked the team leader for a team that still had members or if we were just throwing caution to the wind and axing 9/f/jp altogether.

This whole "team" thing was a big headache, too. Maybe for simfile tournaments in the future we should just stick to the tried-and-true "Person submit simfiles. Other people vote for simfiles. Person gets most votes A WINNAR IS YOU" formula... but I digress. It's probably not my place to criticize anyway.

I'm okay with this week being the last week. I was thinking of quitting anyway because this whole thing became confusion incarnate right around the time we took that break so this is simply peachy.
