DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX (AC) (Japan)

SUPER SAMURAI was ported to X and Pluto The First was ported to X2, so it'd be weird if they didn't port some Wii DDR boss song to X3. SILVER DREAM wouldn't be a bad choice, since it's been on DDR S if I remember correctly.

I told him that so far I haven't seen proof of it from what we have right now, and I will look into it. BMS' news report and the preliminary song list here do not have Silver Dream in them.

That and silver dream had an absolutely fantastic chart imo especially compared to super samurai and crazy love...

Although that doesn't mean Silver Dream's chart is any good.

I fixed this. Imo those txo chart are a bit retarded. Count how many double-steps and jumps there is in the stepchart.
Kimono have some good stuff (especially the little stops in the song. For once, they did a cool/easy/kick-ass stuff with them. Like a mini gimmick).

Super Samurai is ok. It's one of the only boss song that i enjoy to play at the arcade (even if the stops are SO bad in this one).

I'm sure Silver Dream will came out on X3, with the same chart as the one that we know :s


Btw, there is still no news, what is going on ? They were many new informations for X2 and X, many location tests (can't remember for SN2). I hope that we'll have some good surprises ^^'

First off, if you really think about it, we do double-steps all the time. Double-stepping could be done right in the right songs (like CANDY*). Unless the player is too lazy to double-step.

Silver Dream don't have the little stops, but they still have that cute slow-down gimmick in the middle.

You're probably mad you haven't AAA'd it on Stepmania yet, or something.

Play the whole of HP2 and still TRY saying "it's OK, these charts are good! We double-step all the time!"

Good to know, but I'm talking about mostly all the charts that have crossovers we wish NOT to follow.

Let me ask you something. Is Healing Vision Angelic Mix bad? And don't tell me that's "different" because it's about the same speed as the two boss songs.

Do people who say that even know what foot to start stepping to avoid the double-stepping? These kind of questions pops up when I think about stuff like this.

Double-stepping isn't inherently bad, it's just more difficult for a lot of people. I also wouldn't call the stepcharts in the HOTTEST PARTY series the best ever. But what's stopping them from giving SILVER DREAM, et al new charts written by the X3 design team?

Since i can AAA this and many other stuffs (this reminds mae that i have some new keyboard accomplishment to post), i don't think that Silver Dream is a problem rofl.
I just played Silver Dream again. The slow down is ok and the stop is nice.
Some double-steps are really atrocious >.>
The song is speedy and cartchy but the chart could have been better.
I'm someone that said a lot (and still say) "We need more good 14'-16' on ddr" but if they do a crappy 15' i prefer that they do a decent 11' instead.
I just played the S- chart. Some little double steps but that's SO much better. Seriously, the chart is nice. I guess it's a nice 12 or sometyhing.

Played all of them at the arcade, and somes, countless times.
I dislike all the charts.
But eh, i was happy when i AAA'd End of the Century.
And oh, i hate breakdown (not even talking about Chaos but for different reasons).

I think some people like double steps/spins, some people hate, some other doesn't care.
I'm not a fan of this even if on some songs i kind of like it but that's rare (i hate for sure when you have nice crossovers and right after some silly patern. You must fuck this up on a sightread and even after, unless you force yourselt to doublestep everything or learn the exact place of the double-steps).

It is very likely that KONAMI will recycle Silver Dream for X3. In the DDRS data sometime ago, I found a complete doubles chart for the song.

I'm not going to shoot it down as being confirmed or anything, but the possibility of it happening is definitely there.

It's a little different...

In those charts, you can tell that double-stepping/spinning was intentionally placed in the chart to make it more challenging and/or unique. With HP2/DDR 2010 charts, it is rather easy to tell that many of the stepwriters simply do not understand the concept of foot placement very well, which is actually a somewhat common problem among many who create original stepfiles.

Damn it, yes. I had this for a long while, haha.

Incidentally, how are the Difficult charts for Silver Dream and Crazy Love? Because I've played the one from Kimono Princess and I really like that one. To be honest, I don't really like the idea of having a jun boss song every HP because imo it's far better suited to make them just regular songs, and shift each chart up one difficulty, making a new Beginner chart.

It was this reason why i said "In my opinion" also silver dream is easy to play without double stepping... i honestly dont see where people are having issues with it o_O
