DDR X2 (AC) (International)

Songs that are either too Short, or the StepChart Makes Absolute No Sense. Take Fascination MAXX (DDR SuperNOVA), NGO, PARANOiA ~HADES~ (Oni) (DDR SuperNOVA 2), and Trigger (Oni), (DDR X) for example. The charts are atrocious, and it looks like Konami Got lazy with it....

It also looks like the got lazy with DDR X on thier Challenge Charts if they are using the Basic, or Difficult Charts, RE-Uploading them, and adding Shock Arrows where previous Arrows are, and then calling it and Oni Chart...

this is what I think Is unnecessary. I like it better when EXTREME was out... the Charts actually MADE some sense.

Come to think of it...Whats weird is, As much as I laugh at the effort of them making a game, I am still satisfied... I Love the game, and I love the music... its just the charts. But anyways. I am still looking forward to DDR X2...

But what I REALLY wanna know is what they have planned for the PS3 DDRS. hehe... i REALLY wanna see the graphics on those upcoming games. Hehe

Google actually now says the PS3/360 game's not being released 'till May...

Would not be surprised if they actually change the interface to the X2 AC one, but we'll see.

I just wanted to ask how you think Hades Challenge is atrocious? In fact the steps go with the music perfectly and never requires you to double step. In other words the chart makes perfect sense and I quite like it.

Is it easy? Hell no, but then again thats why its rated an 18...

Theres nothing wrong with faxx expert either imo unless you are saying that hard things is a problem in itself.

Just chiming in to say that I think Pluto Relinquish is one of the best songs in the series, and probably the best boss song since Paranoia Survivor. I haven't played many of the DDRX boss songs, becase the only machine near me is a SuperNOVA 2, but I imagine the new cabinet makes it so much easier to play hard songs? I passed Relinquish first time on a UK DDRX machine, and that was after weeks of learning and failing it on SuperNOVA 2.

AFAIK, the life gauge on DDR X is much more lenient than the one you'd find on SuperNOVA2.

It is, plus the panels are closer together, and so sensitive that you can activate them with the corner of your foot, or through a 5-inch mattress, which means the stream at the end is nowhere near as bad.

Closer together? so that would mean the panels over all are smaller

I believe they're slightly smaller. It certainly feels that way.

I agree with Tyma, Pluto Relinquish is actually a very good boss chart.

I like Faxx Heavy and Trigger too, even if I can't pad them. They both go to the music well and I don't remember either having any double-steps. Yeah Faxx's purple-arrow syndrome is annoying to read, but it's still a good chart.

I quite like the newer boss songs like On the bounce and roppongi evolved.
Sure Trigger is hard, but it doesn't mean it sucks. lol
A song being harder than something like Max 300 shouldn't automatically make it bad. :/
Yeah, beatmania IIDX on a pad, but Pluto Relinqush is ok.

I'm assuming this is what's going to happen, since the Bemani series seems to be moving on from the PS2.
I'm guessing the main series will continue on the PS3 and probably the 360, with this upcoming game being renamed X2

I just feel like the charts make no sense. Im not stating it as a fact... Its an opinion. I may not like it, but I know others do. And Im not trying to take that opinion from others away. I think the overlook on the PS3 has GOT to Change...The Brought back the old DDR Rating system (1-10) but they removed the infamous Banner work... and taking into consideration that it will be released in May... I am hoping some chages are made...
