Cool and catchy song with a nice and simple chart. A chart is not necessary. There SHOULD be some easier songs that don't have any charts that are too hard, and DANCE ALL NIGHT seems like one of these songs.

In my honest opinion, there should be more EASY charts in DDR. (Like more 11's-"easy" 14's (I can't think of a specific song)) I actually like DANCE ALL NIGHT's chart, even though it has weird gaps in some sections. I also don't get why they sped up the song 10BPM higher for DDR.

Can't answer the speed up, I don't know why they would do it.

Also, more in the 11-14 range? Isn't that like almost every non-boss song in DDR? (Though that's because I generally define boss songs having a 15+ foot or , so heh)

Easier charts with breaks on otherwise faster songs and such are why // exist; then again, I might be biased because I love playing songs in the 14-16 (starting to get to 17, haven't gotten far though) range. Seriously, if a is too hard, play - some of the most fun charts I've played are charts.

I know they're called "Expert" for a reason. I was just trying to make a point about the "Expert" difficulty having levels on its own. (The other difficulty levels beg to differ). Doesn't it depend on the player, though?

I think the X scale creates the illusion that most of the songs in the song list are way too easy. When most songs in the song list are rated at least 7/10 on the highest difficulty it felt fine, but when the they're rated 11/20 on the highest difficulty something feels like it's missing. It's just a visual thing but still makes a psychological difference.

I hate the X scale.

Since the hardest difficulty in ITG was called Expert.

ITG was great for this very reason.

I wouldn't complain about the difficulty of a preview song. Remember the preview songs on the console versions back in the PSX days? They were never especially hard songs like you would later see in the game those songs were previewing. They're probably saving the spicier charts for the release of the game. We already got a 13-footer, and I feel that's hard enough (for a preview song).

....I really didn't like this version of the song.

After hearing the original from jubeat saucer fulfill and the extended version from SYNTHESIZED 5, this version feels too 'chopped and screwed' for me.

The chart seems a little easy, of course it could have the potential of getting a chart, but for what it is it's pretty simplistic.

But the song though, god it sounds like a very bad rendition of osaka EVOLVED Ver. C when it tries to throw you off with the variation of the song's rhythm, it literally sounds like all the pieces were put in a randomizer and then thrown together. Not pleased but eh, at least it's on DDR.

My thoughts on charts are that if they CAN be a thing, then they should be. I'd be the most interested to see used for less hard stuff (unless it's a boss or something) rather than used for more hard stuff, if that makes sense. We've all seen what happens if they use as a harder than hard rather than as harder than the somewhat difficult. This also applies to almost every single X-Special.
To be honest, I think they're previewing the songs without challenge charts, and then adding them into A, just like how they only used to preview one difficulty way back when (although I don't recall that being one that stuck...)
